Marvel Movie Tiers: Lets Do This!

Great minds, man - great minds…

I think X3 should be at the bottom of everyone’s list.

But dude, they put that “I’m the Juggernaut” line in!

Yeah, but they also put in Xf3 Phoenix, and she ruins the movie. Good thing Wolverine is herp derp in that film, otherwise she’d never got killed at the end. Didn’t help that Cyclops was roll tier either.

Spiderman 3 was hot GARBAGE…HOT STINKY ABORTED GARBAGE!!!

THIS IS SAM RAIMI’S IDEA OF AN EVIL PETER PARKER!!!
It doesn’t matter…HE GOT PAID ANYWAY!!!

If it wasn’t for HOW’S THE PIE, or J Jonah…I would’ve flung my DVD to the homeless.

Ghost Rider SHITS HOT FLAMING JUSTICE on Spiderman 3…and I bet the sequel will too.

Actionwise…Incredible Hulk > Hulk
Everything else…Hulk >> Incredible Hulk

Bitches be hating on evil parker the greatest thing to come out of Marvel movies.
P.S im joking.

Top: XMFC, Iron Man, Captain America, Blade 1, Kick ass

High: DD directors cut, Punisher War Zone (campy but good campy),

Mid: Spiderman 1+2, Xmen 1-2, Thor (when the gods hung out with humans it just looked like some kids on their way to comic con), Incredible Hulk

Low: Everything else

Howard the Duck is amazing. Duck titties for god’s sake, DUCK TITTIES!

oops, nice discussion going on here, p)

I tiered each movie in relation to this particular set of movies. If I tiered them in relation to all movies, none of them would be shit tier, but none of them would rise above mid tier, either.

TOP TIER (far from perfect or flawless, but enjoyable enough that I wasn’t bothered by the problems while watching)

  • Spider-Man
  • Iron Man

UPPER-MID TIER (still worth watching, but with some significant problems that are hard to get past)

  • Blade
  • X-Men
  • Hulk
  • X2
  • Spider-Man 2

MID TIER (thoroughly mixed bag of bits that are worthwhile and bits that aren’t)

  • Spider-Man 3
  • Iron Man 2

LOWER-MID TIER (worth it purely for comedic value)

  • 1990 Captain America
  • Ghost Rider
  • X-Men Origins: Wolverine

SHIT TIER (not worth it in any sense)

  • Daredevil
  • X-Men: The Last Stand
  • The Incredible Hulk

DIDN’T SEE TIER (either because I overlooked them or figured they’re not worth watching)

  • 1944 Captain America
  • 1986 Howard the Duck
  • 1989 The Punisher
  • 1994 The Fantastic Four
  • Blade II
  • Blade: Trinity
  • Elektra
  • Man-Thing
  • Fantastic Four
  • Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
  • Punisher: War Zone
  • Thor
  • X-Men: First Class
  • Captain America: The First Avenger

LMAO I love you. That line still makes me laugh to this day.

Do yourself a favor and at least watch Thor, First Class, and First Avenger. I’d say those are at least Upper Mid-Tier. Daredevil Directors Cut i say would be mid-tier. Don’t agree with The Incredible Hulk ranking but to each their own i guess.

A movie is only as good as the sum of its parts. X3 was a clusterfuck of multiple storylines and botched and inconsistent character development. Thor and Blade were supremely better than X3 and thats not opinion, thats FACT.

Incred hulk was awesome cuz the hulk got to monstrous fuckin levels!
lmao @ how he jumps and how tall he is

Best thing about that movie was car chassis boxing gloves.

g00dmourning is a DC elitist anyway, so don’t look too far into his opinion.
lol @ overlooking Cap’11, XFC and Thor. Spiderman 3 mid-tier. Ang Lee Hulk > Incredible. Trolololol

Spider-Man 3 and Iron Man 2 on GOD TIER, your list is wrong.

Every Batman movie is severely flawed in one key way or another. So is every Superman movie except for the 1978 one. Never saw Jonah Hex or Green Lantern because I figured they were going to be garbage.

The DCAU television series are good enough that I wonder why most of the direct-to-video features they’ve done aren’t very good.

So there goes your theory.

You’re opinions are out to lunch, brother.

And dinner.

Which direct to video ones are you talking about? Superman/Doomsday and Green Lantern First Flight are the only two i could say i wasn’t too fond of.
