As for which X-Men comic to subscribe to, I’m down to either Uncanny X-Men or X-Men Legacy. The problem with Legacy is that I’m gonna need to get Messiah Complex to bone up on history, and that costs money that I’d rather not spend. :wasted:
Has Uncanny been good as of late?
Current Uncanny arc isn’t all that impressive yet, plus Greg Land is doing the art and his art…may not interest you…
…but get Legacy that book is 10 times better than Uncanny IMO

Iunno. I’m pretty new to this whole comics thing, and sources tell me Uncanny is good for new faces to the scene, you know? Seems like it would be, especially considering how in-depth Legacy is. I think I should ease myself in slowly and take out a few months of Uncanny, see how I like it. You dig?

but can someone with some old thor knowledge correct me…wasnt thor banished on earth in human form cuz he was a douche and odin wanted to punish him and make him learn what its like to be human.
In a nutshell yeah. Odin placed Thor on Earth because he was proud, stubborn and selfish, he needed to learn humility. The final staw was when Thor chased a monster into the land of Frost Giants, breaking Asgard law and a war almost broke out because of this. That’s when Odin said GGPO.

Yeah posting up illegal links of straight to video Marvel Animation is the way to go and make me lose my job really. Marvel’s so bad at those (okay, the fight against Hulk in Ultimates 1 was cool and that’s about it really) that I’m just gonna gloss over entire posts from time to time. Straight to video Iron Man and Doctor Strange, yikes… :rolleyes:
well, suppose i had seen it already with my kids. i think i’d like it, and would probably end up buying it later on. but that’s assuming that i had a copy of it. which i obviously don’t since it’s not out yet. 
Sano, if Marvel people do lurk around here how come their higher ups haven’t changed the writer for Red Hulk?

are you kidding? red hulk is the biggest piece of trash, ever. i’d say that filth is worse than seeing magneto in a plane crash.
Listening to people on the internet is a bad way to run a business in all honesty. You can take things into consideration however - Marvel Apes was a fan’s idea. I don’t know if you remember when a heck of a lot of people on the internet told Marvel the Ultimates Line was a stupid idea, Marvel did it anyway and made bundles of money.
If a book sells they or any other comic book company will keep putting it out and not bother changing creative teams, simple as that.
Yeah I wish Rulk ceased to exist and everyone just stopped talking about the thing, but what can you do… :crybaby:
to get you up to speed. maybe you can go to your local library to see if they have the trades available to borrow from the library. i have done this for a while to catch up on my reading or using it as a way to make a decision to get the book.
