What’s a good series to read? Dud, that’s like asking me to choose which testicle is my favorite. :sad: Warlock and the infinity watch was easily the best ongoing series. My guilty pleasure is Silver Surfer/Warlock Ressurection though because it showcases warlock’s ability to not give a shit. Stealing the Surfer’s surfboard? beating up Mephisto in hell? More plz.

So we start to get an understanding as to why Fury left after Secret Invasion. He’s laying low in a small foreign country when some SHIELD agent chick comes and gives him the lowdown on whats been going in his absence. They sleep together and she leaves to get some food for them both. Fury doesn’t trust her and proceeds to “cloak” himself Predator style and follows her. Well Fury finds out that the chick is a skrull and after eavesdropping on the she skrulls meeting, proceeds to go back to the hotel. When the she skrull comes back, Fury ends up shooting her in the head and leaves. He goes across the street and cloaks again on the roof spying on the skrulls taking the dead skrulls body. We then cut to two months later and Fury manages to sneak onto the hellicarrier into Maria Hill’s room. He informs her to start making Life Model decoys of herself to prevent being kidnapped and also to start being aware that the skrulls all around her in SHIELD. He leaves and two weeks later meets up with Spiderwoman and informs her of the Skrull situation. He doesn’t trust her cause she too could be a skrull but he informs her to watch herself.

but i got a question , ive followed the x-books pretty closely …or at least uncanny the last hundered issues and astonoshing #1-24 .
and in uncanny 496 theres a sceene in russia with wolverine , colossus and nightcrawler were he grieves kitty pride ???. were did this come from all of a sudden , have i missed something. i cant recall hearing anything happen to her whatsoever …and now shes dead ?? anyone know whats up …is this addressed in some other marvel book ?

Supposedly from what I hear Kiddy Pryde is going to die, or it’s just going to look like she dies in typical Marvel fashion in Astonishing X-Men. But Astonishing is so late we are not 100% certain what happens. Other comics are trying to reconcile this as best as they can. Though yeah, Kitty is either dead or at the very least the people around her think she’s dead. Guess we’ll have to wait on Astonishing to find out what happens.
Essential Punishers are really good. I can hardly stand the avenger’s ones though. That’s all that I’ve read
