Yeah, man. Alias is one of my all-time favorite Marvels. The Pulse is basically Alias without the MAX liberalities. So it’s not as hardcore and not as character-intensive, but it’s more in the mainline Marvel universe. It’s a good read in its own right, but it’s just very different from Alias.
I’ll keep my eyes open, my comic shop that I go to isn’t too amazing with trades (I’m assuming Pulse is in trade?)
But yeah so far I’m thinking that Alias, Tangled Web, and Punisher max run are the best stories I’ve read

It’s weird David Mack drew the latest New Avengers issue. Not painted a bunch of psychedelic crap like he normally does but he actually pencilled it. The comic still sucked though. It’s official. New Avengers is a bad comic once again.

Yeah the recent issue of New Avengers was a good read plus it solidified that Echo is the shit and can hold her own.

Right now I know of Vol. 1-3 from the 80s and their first appearance in a Spiderman series from the 80s as well. Anything else?

I don’t hate everything, but I’m also not a fan of Avengers honestly (never have been too much of one either). I guess I don’t like anything that has too much “secret government” stuff in it.
2007: 5 issues of Mighty Avengers were released
2008: 6 issues of Mighty Avengers were released (5 by Mark Bagley) and it’s not even April yet.

New Avenger has been quite hit-or-miss in the past few months, but I definitely think that all that bidness with the Hood was pretty great. Juggling the Skrulls, the Hood, the Mighty Avengers and the Jessica/Luke stuff all at once took its toll, though. But when it was focused, it was good.
I blame whatshisface who held everything up with Mighty Avengers.
