I bet Aunt May, J. Jonah Jameson, and anyone over the age of 50 or anyone who’s read a history book knows who Bucky is. It’s just that most people in the Marvel Universe don’t know he’s still alive.
And that to me is whats gonna shock the people that don’t know. In there eyes they just see some random guy as Captain America. Makes me wonder if Marvel is gonna reintegrate him into one of the Avenger groups.
Then again I still think that after Secret Invasion we’ll get an Avenger group thats a combination of both Mighty/New.
Yeah, I think I read somewhere that, after Secret Invasion, Bucky was gonna reassemble the New Avengers. Or join them. Hopefully Wolverine leaves.

I was the same as well. I started with the CW tiein which was pretty solid and I stopped reading after 9 but all i can understand is that she is sleeping with some random cop and was in savage island recently

The whole fighting sequence with Cap fighting the Serpent squadron was nice. Then him damn near peacing out Crossbones with like 5 shots to the chest was even better. Red Skull knows that Barnes is the new Cap. Then the twist at the end, Sharon Carter escaping the facility and finding a container that has the body of Steve Rogers, which i’m gonna probably guess is a clone.
before i read this is cap worth going and picking up since bucky? I’ve read only a lil bit of buckys character and that comes out of deadpool and orgins. He seems to be a lame jerk. I guess more like America than captain America ever was lol
Its definitely worth it. I mean after Cap died i didn’t think it was possible to make a good book but DAMN Brubaker is proving that its possible. To me it open more doors to show focus on characters like The Falcon,Sharon Carter,Bucky,and the Black Widow more.
Plus i’m enjoying Bucky as Cap. Brings a different perspective on how Cap does things plus you have Bucky doubting himself at times on whether he can live up to Roger’s legacy.

Todays issue, he’s trying to convince people to stop rioting in front of the white house and go back to there families but the people don’t believe he’s Captain America even with the suit.
The Ms. Marvel series is so average. I also gave up on it a couple issues after the first arc. It’s the epitome of the middle-of-the-road, standard superhero series. It is only for diehard fans or continuity pornographers. I really see no other reason why anyone would want to pay money to read it.
Battlin’ Jack Murdock was cool, though I personally preferred if Josie didn’t have that much of a role in it, and it gave a little more focus on Jack and Matt’s father-son relations, but overall it was good.

Anyone read Lapham’s Terror Inc? Was it any good?
I’m switching to the dark side and switching to TPBs instead of monthlies (somewhat) with Daredevil and soon that Punisher is wrapping up (if they do continue it with another writer). Hopping on UXM and ASM for monthlies though (well not monthlies for ASM). UXM looks gorgeous right now (reads alright too with Brubaker). I wasn’t a huge fan of Marvel coloring but UXM looks great and it feels like a good fit for the book.
I think that’s why they have Greg Horn doing the covers.
