Yes it does. It’s a HUGE distraction for the heroes. And you’re a lot less concerned with whtehr your sidekick is a skrull if your entire rogue’s gallery is after you.
I dunno about this secret invasion arc.
The skrulls just don’t seem big enough of a threat for me to care. I mean, just last year they got punked by the Young Avengers. I know Bendis is doing his best to make em scary and smart and stuff… but it just doesn’t work for me.
I’ll still pick it up though.

nothing i was talking about how the messiah complex just suddenly link up everything regarding the arrival of bishop and how it is a bit rushed. In other words one can say since his arrival in Uncanny X-Men # 282 (more than 10 years ago) now it explains it all. :lol: and he suddenly remembers the baby:rolleyes:

i saw a 4 issue punisher trade for $18 a few weeks back and thought that was rediculous
yeah marvel seems to be upping the price. the complete onslaught trade is only like 9 issues and it was 30 bucks compared to the AoA trades which had like 13 issues
I thought this was just me. I wanted to buy The Infinity Gauntlet trade but it was 25 bucks. Wasn’t there only like 6 issues? And for a trade as opposed to a HC??

This is the week of closure for the X-Titles. Joss Whedon and (much more importantly) John Cassaday’s run on Astonishing X-Men ends. It was a good series. Now John can go back to working on Planetary (I hope).
Oh yeah and Messiah Complex ends in X-Men 207 too. After this issue everything changes for the X-Men forever.

Cool. Astonishing X-Men is one of the few Marvel Comics that I enjoy. The art is the best and the story isn’t bad either. A little simple but that’s a good thing nowadays.Hopefully the storyline encompasses all 64 pages. No reprints like most of these huge comics are known for having.
Yar, I started reading Avengers: The Initiative specifically because I need my monthly dosage of Taskmaster…but I wish they had him in his UDON Robo-hoodie Taskmaster outfit rather than his crazy ol’ skull-and-cloak getup.
