Ultimate Spider-Man is good. People hated it at first but its fun to read.
Agent Coulson comes back. Where did those rumors of him as Vision originate anyway?

The entire Vision thing was nothing more than wishful thinking. Vision is tricky because Fox owns Scarlet Witch and it would blow to have one without the other.
As I understand it, Marvel can use Scarlet Witch in their movies if they don’t mention Magneto. Which would suck.
GAWD I hate Fox. Since Sony is cool with Disney they have shown they are willing to play ball with Marvel, since the Oscorp building from Amazing Spider-Man almost showed up in Avengers (I hope it makes the DVD but no confirmation yet).

Yeah a Cobie Smulders / Clark Greg prequel show with occasional Sam Jack appearances would rule all existence. Cobie only has one year left for HIMYM so here’s hoping the (movie) stars all line up.

I heard Namor couldn’t be in Avengers Alliance for licensing issues? (idk who has him) Since they are getting the Phoenix 5 costumes soon.
Vin Diesel as Vision would be interesting? Looks like Daredevil is going back to Marvel so no Surfer or the big G which sucks. I marked out for BRB in Planet Hulk even though he wasn’t in it. But didn’t Yost say they had no limits when it came to the characters?

with Ultimate Spider-Man I purchased the Limited Edition when it came out. I thought it was weak. Also, I did not like Spider-Man 3 there was one level you had to protect a bomb and then the lizards henchmen came and rush you down so you lost. That pissed me off so much.
In other comic book related purchases picked up the Captain America omnibus, Infinity Gauntlet and Secret Invasion: Thor.
ultimate spiderman was fun, but kinda repetitive and short.

Yeah if you watch the Planet Hulk Blu-Ray (or the double disc version) and the extras they tell you straight up that Fox did not let them use Silver Surfer.
For what it’s worth they made it work without SS. I could do without the Thor origin tweak, but eh.
Yeah Sub-Mariner’s considered a Fantastic Four character. So there’s Fox again.
All this movie stuff is pretty complicated. The next Wolverine movie will apparantly use Viper who should technically be a Captain America character. Wolverine gets her because he was married to Viper for a while it seems.
Mystique started out as a Ms. Marvel villain. Sabretooth started out as a Powerman and Iron Fist villain. Both are considered X villains now. Same for Silver Samurai starting out as a Daredevil villain. Fox probably still owns him too.
I wouldn’t have issues with Fox if they would just play ball now and then like Sony seems willing to. A cinematic universe benefits everybody. I don’t know why they are being pricks. Lend Galactus and Silver Surfer to Whedon. By the time you make your ‘probably’ shitty Fantastic Four reboot it might just help you fill seats.
At least Marvel as a whole is further along in this way of thinking than DC is. And they’ve had since the 70s with Superman 1 to get a cinematic universe going. Marvel got there MUCH faster. No DC / WB hate, just saying.

I watched it at a premier in Beverly Hills a couple years back. Jeph Loeb was there lol. Blair Butler hosted the panel.
Elektra is still owned by FOX but its going to be hard to do a movie without using Daredevil so she would probably go back to Marvel in a couple of years.
I remember reading that Wolverine comic not too long ago. It was Wolverine v2 125 lol.
DC needs their own Kevin Fiege if they want to catch up with Marvel imo.
X-Men Origins Wolverine was a fucking awesome game. I 1000/1000 that not too long ago. I wish Raven would have added more costumes but I did enjoy using the X-Force one. One of the rare movie games that were quite good. Also, Captain America was solid but it was just too short.

Come to think of it, that could be a great show on it’s own.
Either way, I think they made a good choice. They can balance a lot of the superpowered stuff w/ politics and routine television spy stuff people are used to. I wouldn’t be surprised to see it follow the same lines of Alias, where a lot of the overly fictional stuff (ie superpowers, sci-fi weapons, etc) are introduced over time. A lot of people never cared that Alias introduced the “Rambaldi Devices” and how much they went against the fabric of the show which seemed to be based in our world.
The question is - who plays Nick Fury? My vote goes to Isaiah Mustafa. He recently did an interview and said his dream is to play Luke Cage, so I doubt he’d wouldn’t mind settling for a Fury.
Sam Jack is willing to do anything. He provides a voice of a white guy on Boondocks for crying out loud lol! Dude’s in the new Star Wars Trilogy only because he begged Lucas, he was willing to play a Stormtrooper ha ha! I’m sure he’s too busy to be in every episode but he would probably be cool with a cameo now and then. Guess you never know though, especially if it comes down to a timing and money issue.
Personally I really don’t think it’s a good idea to recast anybody when the SHIELD show is supposed to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Not that said Universe doesn’t change actors on the fly, but consistency would be nice. Even if the show has to be about Jimmy Woo and a whole new cast, whatevs.
…A Jimmy Woo SHIELD show would blow the collective minds of the SRK Asian Comic Book Yakuza.
That’s what makes it funny though! 
Anyway, I’ve completely talked myself into wanting a Winter Soldier show. Guess I’ll just settle for the next CapAm movie.
I think a random agents of atlus would be amazing. More of a sci-fi comedy/super hero movie. It shouldn’t take itself to serious.

Uncanny X-Force - Ha ha road trip with Sabretooth. Reminded me why I’ve missed the character all these years.
Gambit - Surprisingly still entertaining so sticking with it for now.
Captain Marvel - I don’t know still on the fence with this series. I’ll try to finish this arc but if it lasts longer than 2 more issues I might not make it. More action please. As it stands the Ms. Marvel comic was better IMHO. Better art too.
FF - Whoa pretty brutal outcome. Looking forward to Hickman on Avengers but gonna miss him on the first family books.
