Loeb needs to stop trolling first canceling Avengers EMH and now this

So he basically un-did his own stupid ass retcon about Wolverine and Sabretooth evolving from wolves (um what, sabretooth tigers are part of the cat family, wolves are from the dog family. YOU CAN’T BE THIS STUPID) and created another stupid retcon?
I told you not to read that Loeb arc! As far as I’m concerned The Hand brought Sabretooth back to life the end. And Sabretooth, not even a clone of Sabretooth EVER got on his knees and cried begging Wolverine to kill him. He tripped and fell on the Muramasa blade while it was in Logan’s hands or something, man I dunno…
Curse you Loeb! Can’t you go back to DC and write Hush 2 or some other crappy story and leave Marvel alone?
NERD RAGE!!!
Lol well in other news it was really nice for ASM’s 50th Anniversary issue that they printed a letter from Spidey616. Go to any comic book convention in the US and homeboy is there asking a question at a Marvel panel. Dude is definitely hardcore.
Don’t know about the Spider-Man sidekick thing yet. It’s interesting though. Great artwork by Humberto.

I know reading the arc was going to be bad but the art on it is amazing. I mean its kinda funny how Loeb just did this. I wonder how Barry Windsor Smith feels about this.
I want those ASM variants they look nice.
Oh snap a reason to read Black Panther. BP was awesome in Hickman’s Fantastic Four issues. Go White Boy Go White Boy Go!

He will probably be one of the 18 Avengers.
sad to see Brubaker go. I’m gonna try to cop me the Captain America omnibus. I’ve been procrastinating on getting it for a while.
Ororo Munroe and Thor Odinson are a Couple from an alternate universe., showing in X-Treme X-Men #2 preview.
What is up with this shitty art? It must be that dayum tracer
the art is fine for me
The thing getting to me is how the clothes just seem like their pasted on everyone, almost as if the people and the clothes are drawn in subtley different styles. Arts pretty blah.
Looks like a poor man’s Leinil Francis Yu.
Exerts from Stan Lee at a recent convention. Usual Stan Lee BS taking credit for things Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko created. However, hearing him talk about Deadpool, the Ultimo manga, and current Marvel movie stuff is still pretty cool. Awe I give up Stan’s The Man.

I’ve loved Marvel comics ever since I was a kid, Onslaught being one of my favorite characters ever. (Hence the name)
Has anyone here ever read Spiderman Reign?
^ I stayed away from Spider-Man Reign since I pegged it as a trail run of Marvel getting rid of the marriage. Hey I was right! For what it’s worth I’m happy that they didn’t go with MJ dieing at least. Too bad that OMIT is fucking retarted IMHO.
Ooh TV commercials for Marvel Now! I can see it. “KAPOW HOW YOU LIKE MARVEL NOW! KAPOW!”

Spider-Man: Reign has some really groovy Kaare Andrews artwork. It’s an obvious homage to The Dark Knight Returns, to the point where it’s almost embarrassing at times. It’s very derivative. Some people have love for it, but I sold my copies after I read it three or four times. It’s one of those comics I wanted to like but in the end, if you’re going to make a story that parallels DKR so closely, I’d rather just read DKR. I mean, there were cool bits here and there, but the thread holding them together just wasn’t very strong. I wouldn’t even call it a poor man’s DKR. It’s more of a homeless man’s DKR. Reign is a decent little Spider-Man story, one that is self-contained and does an all right job summarizing why Spidey is a hero, but it’s not a particularly good comic in general, either.
On the other hand, early printings of the first issue featured full-frontal male nudity. Yup… 60-year old Peter Parker’s radioactive balls in full view. There was even an explanation that Mary Jane died of radiation poisoning because Peter’s semen was radioactive. Not sure if that has a place in a Spider-Man story, but if they can transform Wolverine into a Victorian-era crybaby who wept like a sissy when his puppy died, I guess nothing is sacred.
AIN’T THAT RIGHT, CLINTY
I really liked it. It did take a lot from TDK, but I didn’t really feel like it was per say **stealing **from it. It had a lot of symbolism that spoke out to morals in general as well as what it meant for Spiderman to be Spiderman, as well as why the city needed someone like him and ONLY him. The fact that he starts out in the black suit, and then get’s his balls rocked, (to me at least) symbolizes everything that went wrong with that suit in the first place. It was sort of a reminder as to why he didn’t wear it anymore, and it was also something he needed to go through before coming truly face to face with his demons.
I loved it when he popped out of that coffin with the ol’ red n’ blues on. I’m a huge Spiderman fan, and even though I’ll probably get flamed for giving the comic so much praise, I think it was really cool to see him fall and rise in such a dark-toned story. The artwork was also superb, and Venom as always is a total bad ass. I also love how much Jonah changed.
I just read up to ultimate spiderman 8 and man I’m hooked.:clapdos:
I like it much better than the OG ultimate spiderman sofar… I hope it stays this good.
sofar I’ve noticed he doesn’t use web, which is kinda cool. Wonder if its gonna stay that way…
I love Ultimate Spiderman! I have a huge books that starts at the beggining of the series and ends midway through the Venom saga.
Uncanny Avengers Granov variant cover along with info on the first issue and the team roster.
