Liked the Amazing Spider-Man Annual this week.
ASM Annual
It was pretty cool when Spidey went back to the Lee / Ditko days and the artwork changed to reflect that era. Time travel was still really confusing in this issue. I think Slott handled time travel better in ASM.
FF, Wolverine, W&TXM and X-Men Legacy were all really good this week too.
Anyone notice that deadpool not disfigured anymore, i have all his runs, and either im missing something, like the serum that he got shot with to nullify his healing factor also stoped his cells from over generating…Its just a plot to make him good looking non disfigured ,now so ryan reynolds can play him in a movie?
So I just saw the preview for spidermen #2 looks good. When did 1 drop? Might try and check this out.

As for AA its perfect about jumping in now…the whole xmen vs avengers thing has most titltes on hold as You can tell alot of teams and things will change… i liked the new xmen…with surge and dust and later x23…there now all been sent there by the avengers/wolverine.x23,surge,dust and now finesse reason i buy it… i think most titles are perfect for jumping in on now, as they all seem like there in filler mode while the xmen vs avengers goes down

So they redubbed Spider-Man’s voice on Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. First it was recorded with Josh Keaton who played Spider-Man in Spectacular Spider-Man, MvC3 / UMvC3, Ultimate Spider-Man in Shattered Dimensions and 616 Spider-Man in Edge of Time. Now his voiced was redubbed with Drake Bell who plays Spider-Man in the new Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon. Wow someone is mad that Josh Keaton voices Green Lantern now…

Can’t believe how far I’ve gone from being excited for Marvels new animation works to not wanting anything to do with it anymore.
Not excited for either animated productions now. Marvel is going all super retard kid friendly, DC is doing that stupid 3D stuff (I dislike it personally).
DC still has the fantastic film line at least, waiting for Superman vs. The Elite.
Personally I love Green Lantern and Young Justice. I HATE Ultimate Spider-Man and if it wasn’t a Spider-Man cartoon I’d stop watching that too. Avengers EMH is alright but compared to Young Justice it’s a joke.
Disney how can you screw over Greg Weisman TWICE? First with Gargoyles and then with Spectacular Spider-Man. What the hell is wrong with you? I’m glad he’s kicking ass on YJ and making the Ultimate Spider-Man crew look retarted.
DC pound for pound has better cartoons. Marvel has better live action films. Same ol same ol.

I don’t think that is fair, Avengers: EMH is fucking awesome and has some legitimately wonderful battle scenes and a nicely pieced together story. I respect YJ, but it was boring to me the first seven episodes I watched, and I didn’t connect with anyone but a single character there and just wanted more Justice League.
The five year jump stuff has me interested though.
I just wish people weren’t still so fucking hung up over Spectacular Spider-Man I mean damn it’s been a couple of years now, let that shit go.

I don’t think anyone that reads Avengers comics regularly is missing anything by not watching AEMH. The people involved have any idea how to make the show something special. It’s a standard super hero cartoon at best.
I like how they are introducing more of the MU but they have no idea how to pace that sort of thing where it feels organic and not like a checklist where they are just crossing off names. That’s something that both the old JL cartoon and YJ excel at.
Well maybe not when JL became JLU because they introduced an entire small town of capes in the first episode… Even then they still made it all come together the longer the show went on.
