Wow the armor is really hightech I like it more now. I miss the bulkiness of his old armor I like the glowing thing on the face armor though. I just find the new armor is just more of a color palette swap now with it being as slim as the Iron Man armor(s).
The war machine armor has always been about bulk resistance power, while stark’s suit was all about slim mobility stealth. But now the line is blurred, that’s all that bothers me about really.
As for FF600, I saw the cover on comicbookmovie.com and got kinda hype, not hype enough to read FF though…
Didn’t pick it up because I dig Hickman’s SHIELD stuff over his Fantastic Four stuff, me personally. I read spoilers for the issue on CBR. Sounds pretty crazy. I might go get it next week after the Holiday.
I really enjoyed Fantastic Four #600 as well! What Iceman does in WATXM #2 was cool and I saw a little of Jamie Madrox in it, but the one thing keeping me from liking WATXM is the use of the Hellfire Kids again.
No, Spiderman to Hickman’s FF run is what Wolverine was to Whedon’s Astonishing X-Men run to me.
I like that Spidey gets a chance to run with people who deal with cosmic otherwordly disasters, as it can show how he is capable in such situations.
thing is there many other heroes that need that shine. I understand he is one of their “cashcows” but how will the other characters gain new fans if Peter is always in our face.
I haven’t started #600 yet but, Wolverine could be in the FF he’d look good in white…
DD would be sorta cool idk how good a fit he would be. Matt has the “educated” vibe that goes with the rest of the FF imo. Is he with a team of Avengers?
Got around to reading FF 600 and I agree with everyone else. Great way to bring Johnny back.
And yeah Spider-Man will remain with Future Foundation and Johnny will be with the Fantastic Four. There’s going to be two books now. FF #12 is next week and Fantastic Four #601 is next month.
Matt / Daredevil’s joining one of the Avengers squads. Don’t know if it’s New or Adjectiveless Avengers but it’s one of the Bendis books. This was said in one of those books during Fear Itself IIRC.
Iron Man #510: AMAZING (although I think what helped was the fact that Tony’s run has been “meh” in the last several months). Still amazing
Thor #6: very interesting, I like to see where Fraction is taking this.
