Yeah my bad, I haven’t cared for any of Marvel’s cosmic stuff since Annihilation so I just ignore it. Marvel did mention he was coming back so I assumed he was pushing up daisies or whatever. Stuck in a Cancerverse the internets tell me. Huh.
I liked Thanos’ death in Annihilation so I really wasn’t interested in Imperative. I mean I knew Thanos was going to come back to life sooner or later because heaven forbid his fans have to go and read back issues OH NOOS but it was way too soon.
Nova’s last comic sucked hard. That’s one of the reasons I don’t keep up with Marvel’s cosmic stuff.
Nova ripped Annihilus’ freaking spine out during Annihilation. How you fail to make that character look cool in his own book is beyond me.
I gotta disagree on that right there. As a whole I’ve enjoyed Marvel’s cosmic line a lot more than the stuff happenin’ on Earth. Even their low points were pretty much on the same level as most of the other stuff. I will agree that Nova’s comics weren’t as epic as the Annihilation arc was, but it far from sucked, and he looked pretty cool doin’ just about everything else in his book. Plus, it got me to really like Darkhawk. Kinda sad there’s been no mention of him since.
Agree to disagree I guess. Nova’s comic to me was just a poor man’s Green’s Lantern show. It didn’t help that they shoe horned it into that miserable Phalanx crosover really fast.
What? No Academy? This week’s issue helped set up some future plot points. Should be fun.
ASM, X-23, Academy were all hits as usual. UXM was surprisingly good and X-Men as well. I enjoyed both much more than I usually do.
I haven’t read a single DC book since reboot. Chars made too extreme for my liking. I know they are tying to sell but no lighthearted books and all books so dark now. Just makes me shake my head. Plus I hate 99% of the costumes.
If its Kaine he does deserve for some spotlight. Nova was 50/50 to me. HIm getting stuck in the cancerverse during thanos imperative kinda sucked. W/e bring back Ryder. Cause Annihilators looking so off without him

Fear Itself 7.1: BUCKY’S ALIVE! Great issue IMO, looking forward to Winter Soldier #1. Hope Bucky can be a Cap someday again, he’s a cool character IMO.

The Dreaming Celestial was introduced back in The Eternals miniseries by Gaiman and JRjr. That’s definitely worth picking up if you haven’t checked it out yet.

I like the direction that Winter Soldier series is gonna taking. From what I read, it’s take being a super spy to a new level. Bucky was found guilty, so he has to stay very low profile. Only 2-3 people know he’s alive.
In other news, more titles are going digital day and date. By April 2012 everything but the Stephen King stuff.
Depends on the comic really , I know older stuff is cheaper than the cover price and I assume newer stuff will be similar to DC in that it’ll be cover price. On that note apparently AvSM comes with a free digital download code which is something that needs to start happening more often
I haven’t read an X-book or really even many Marvel books in a while but I picked up Wolverine and the X-men today and I loved it. Bachalo is one of my favorite artists and Aaron is becoming a favorite writer. This book was everything I used to love about the X-men. I might also get Uncanny, but I have no idea why they are in San Francisco. And why can Xavier walk now? I wish they’d just pick one, he’s crippled or he can walk.
This got me in the mood to read some more Marvel after three months or so of almost nothing but DC. Probably going to grab Avenging Spider-man next week.

-Cyclops lives/built utopia off coast of SanFran(where most of the remaining mutants relaxing)
-Cyclops/Wolverine fought in schism and they broke up Raped by the new 12 yr old hellfire king. Also Sentinels are the new trend again.
-Crappy xavier can walk cause I think xorn “healed” him a while back, that failed. Then House of M happened and when all reality went back, he can walk again iirc.
Sentinels fucking rule so I am glad they are back.
My gf is freaking out about Emma in Uncanny, I had to remind her it’s a comic and explain that in the magical world of print “that” is entirely fixable.
After reading SI ASM and Venom are on my pull list now and I’m looking forward to AvSM. Daredevil, one of my favorite Marvel books, is apparently going to do a tie-in with SpiderMan so that should be really fun.
WaTXM was awesome I know I’m late saying that, but I loved the scene with Beast. Him bitching about coffee, saying he probably can’t even stop the school at this point and just disappearing when Kitty was talking to him. Hilarious!
