I think I’ll have a Capcom team with Dante, Ryu and Chun-Li and a Marvel team with Spider-Man, Wolverine and Shuma-Gorath. Trish, Deadpool, Phoenix and Zero along with a few others are looking really good though. Can’t think of a game that’s been this hard to come up with a three character team for me, but playing a lot usually helps weed things out.
Bendis and Maleev Talk “Moon Knight” - Comic Book Resources
I’m going to read it anyway but I don’t like this idea at all. At least when it comes to Moon Knight. Moon Knight creating his own personalities was great, but using two characters who already saturate Marvel is a bit much. Though, I have no problem with Spider-Man joining Future Foundation because I personally feel the Fantastic Four was the only team Peter ever really wanted to be on and he shouldn’t be an Avenger. That’s another topic though. Also, Bendis states that he isn’t going to be using Khonshu at all which is another negative. Being in LA is good though. Spread those heroes out, damn.
The GOOD thing about this article though is that Moon Knight is one of three titles coming on it’s way. I’m looking forward to what these two other books may be and who they will be written by. Crossing my fingers for more Iron Fist.

That Moon Knight article turned me off, I was expecting a street level character with a personality disorder (Who is pretty much insane), dealing with Khonshu and every now and then some Supernatural drama (Not enough of it in Marvel). But now I am getting something uh…not really Moon Knighty.
I’m hoping the other two will be Dr. Strange and Iron Fist, although Rom the Motha Fuckin’ Space Knight would be cool as shit.

To be fair, he didn’t say Moon Knight would be without horror and the supernatural. He said it would be “light” on those aspects. It sounds like it’ll be more of a schizophrenic/multiple personality version of Daredevil with more superheroic leanings than a Skrull-related thing. (I don’t know where you got that.)
Regardless, when it comes to comics, I just care more about the creators involved than I do about the characters or concepts.

Nextwave was one of the best Marvels of the past several years. It’s Warren Ellis telling a well-crafted imaginative superhero story while simultaneously taking the piss out of the genre. He’s having his cake and eating it, too. Stuart Immonen did some fantastic artwork, too. It’s really no wonder it only lasted 12 issues because it was such a great series.
I just finished reading it too and wow. Well I’m going to call it T’Challa will cheat on her and it will lead to the end of the marriage. After 5 years of whining it has happened folks.
Okay so my continuing comic problems got worked out I believe.
Told them straight up I was having issues, and am still missing issues. They were cool about it and we talked, I didn’t get upset or anything. They are placing a special order in tomorrow exclusively for my stuff. They also paid for the comics I was buying that day, even though I told them it wasn’t necessary. Pretty cool of them, this is going on like five months so happy it’s being resolved.
Yeah, most comic book stores have a lot of issues.
I’m posting this again because it has been updated with a mention of Death of Spider-Man. I’m telling you man, I have a bad feeling about this.
Also, this week begins a new five issue mini for the Silver Surfer involving the High Evolutionary. It’s being written by Greg Pak.
Ahh so it is a Mini? Lame, I just saw them put a blurb out on it saying Issue #1 of a new series, I assumed ongoing. I LOVE Greg Pak, he’s underrated by my standards, anything with him writing there is about a 92% chance of me picking it up.
Being a fan of Pak and the Surfer (A character he has briefly written in Planet Hulk rather well) I am so excited about this.
I think it’s a mini because on the solicit cover it says “1 of 5”.
I personally like this new movie costume. Web shooters and pads on the fingertips. Looking especially sweet on that website. I hope the movie is actually good.

Speaking sort of cosmic Marvel, is the Annihilators or whatever it’s called good? I know one issue is out or coming out, as I saw a preview of #2. The cast looks great, I’m a fan of most of them.
