Oh I’ve got some issues of Peter David’s Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man run from the '80s. Good stuff. Guy is one of my fav comic writers. I liked the Death of Jean DeWolf story arc. I have parts 1, 3-4.
Steve Uy is the worst artist in the history of comics. If he draws one more issue of Avengers: The Initiative, I’ll never buy that book ever again.
i looked thru that issue. it wasn’t too bad. that title belongs to howard chaykin. i refuse to buy anything that he draws. which sucks cause i really wanted to read the current wolvie run

HA HA HA Dr. Strange was in three books this week, Spider-Man, Wolverine and X-Men Endangered Species and he did the same exact thing in all three books. Who do you think you are Dr. Strange, Wolverine? :looney:

I’m loving X-Men vs. Marauders right now. That book along with New X-Men and X-Factor are my favorites right about now.
So in Wizard they said the whole Endagered species thing would end with a death of an X-Man and possibly a birth. Ya’ll think Bishop will finally be born? One of the X-Factor girls seems to be pregnant and there was that moment in Gen X where Bishop got knocked out and called Monet “Mom?” as he was coming to.

And if it is then that’ll be too pimp. I mean Captain America was already badass now we have a guy thats even more badass and he’s PACKIN heat. I will definitely like to see how this new Captain America will figure into this Secret Invasion arc next year.

I just finished reading the second trade…very bummed out that they aren’t able to keep it rolling and that they probably can’t bring Stuart Immonen back - for once, in such a well written book, the art seems just as important, I think. Is this not the greatest comic book of all time?
FORBUSH MAN!?! And the stylized pages for the different realities…Jesus, TOO GOOD. I’m guessing the Captain Marvel one with the joy gun was Paul Pope style, and Elsa Bloodstone’s is obviously Mignolia style…but I can’t really tell with the other two - possible that they’re just kinda generic no style portions?
Has to be one of the greatest books Marvel’s put out in the last ten years. And sadly it just couldn’t sell enough to keep rolling. What a world.
