Got a quick question, hopefully you guys can answer for me…
friend of mine works at one of the largest comic shops in my state, so he’s got a big selection of comics and trades. I was looking to purchase a couple of trades that were kinda “stand-alone”, and not part of an on-going series where I have to play catch-up and buy a crapload of comics.
Was wondering if any of you guys had some picks for me? I’m not really that picky with hero/heroine choices, so feel free to throw whatever out there. Just wanted to know if you had any particular favorites that would be worth a read.
For Marvel? Earth X? Kevin Smith’s Daredevil run? NextWAVE?

I really like Deadpool, Daredevil, along with the traditional favorites. spiderman, x-men, that kinda stuff

also the new Fantastic Four team (Hickman and Eaglesham) just finished their firs 3-issues arc which was fantastic’it’s ongoing but right now it doesnt seem it’s going a part of some big crossover so ill also add that to the the list
