Yes! It was this one, I’m pretty sure:

Thanks a lot! Gonna see if I can find it to read and see how much I remembered wrong, and then finally read what happens next lol

That comic cover makes no sense, there isn’t enough useless pockets on those outfits to qualify as a 90’s cover. If you don’t have the pockets, then at the very least have an oversized, ridiculous gun that makes no sense. Damn 90’s artists slacking off…
LOL those are the OG training outfits they wore whenever they did Danger Room excercises. Jim Lee’s nods to the original X-Men outfits, kinda.
Sounds like a typical CLAREMONT issue. Terrible.
Nova is a good comic.
she still is fuckable though :lovin:
so i guess wolverne is the “key” to everything
DnA are just awesome. Im assuming you are enjoying part of WoK?
I noticed there is a strong hate for Liefield, Claremont and Land. Could someone explain. I can understand Loeb
I know i’m late with the comment but I think the whole thing with Bullseye being inferior to Thor and Iron Man was established when American Eagle of all heroes put the beatdown on his ass big time.
Speaking of Bullseye; the conclusion in DP #12 was pretty good IMO, I liked it a lot more than how the DP vs. Punisher story ended from the 90s series.
so does marvelman = miracleman?
He’s baaaaaaaaack(He should’ve got involved in the Utopia storyline not after)
Yeap, and Marvel picked up Marvel Man or something, old character that was apparently sought after for a long time, I wonder how they will crap him up.
When it comes to the street-level, hand-to-hand characters, Bullseye is undeniably high tier.
Even though he got fucked up by American Eagle, the fight consisted of him getting combo’d off a knee to the junk, getting shocked by the implants, then getting punked.
The only guys he’s supposed to be definitively weaker than are Daredevil and Wolverine/Deadpool/Sabertooth-types.
The Marvelman acquisition is major news. I really hope it means they can reprint the Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman stuff.
Oh man i was happy as hell to see his ass get humbled by American Eagle despite implant shock helping out.
I was actually shocked that Elektra was able to hold her own and injure him in her Dark Reign book.
On another topic, why does the Hulk books suck ass now? Planet Hulk was cool and World War Hulk was cool despite the mediocre ending but ever since then i’ve been completely confused as to WTF is goin on. has Red Hulk even been identified yet? And i just saw on CBR that there is gonna be a Red She-Hulk.
Simple: Loeb took over.
its ok
pak will start his own series again
@Kusanagi- Just read any Hulk related book that doesn’t have Loeb in it I guess.
Son of Hulk has been great recently, it started off slow but has gotten better.
The recent Lyra mini was good too IMO, so you might wanna give it a read when it comes out in TPB (Savage SheHulk, don’t ask).
@Are you ok- I fear you fail for not knowing about one of Alan Moore’s best woks from the 80s. If anything, Marvel will finally publish the series in collections or Omnibuses.
While I have been a fan of comic characters since I was a child, I didn’t start reading comics until I was about eighteen or so, when I could actually get a job and pay for my own stuff. So if I miss something, I go back and get it in TPB form: Watchmen, Captain America Omnibus, Daredevil, Infinity Gauntlet, etc.
I haven’t read that much work from Moore, but I do enjoy his stuff and will look out for this, since it has the “Seal of approval” from various members. Just if this is such a highly prized character, I hope Marvel treats it with respect, and not half-ass it.
You gotta just drop everything and get every Alan Moore comic you can find. Sell that Infinity Gauntlet if you need extra money!
