We just watched Hulk vs Wolverine and it wasn’t bad, but it had a bunch of stuff I can nerd complain about.
Like Sabertooth getting knocked out.
But it doesn’t matter, I liked it for what it was, a direct to DVD animated movie. Deadpool stole the show and I really liked how Weapon X was animated overall.
Now it’s time for Hulk vs Thor. God I hope Thor punches him.
I don’t want to spoil it for you, but the Hulk hits Thor into space, picks up his hammer thanks to the no-gravity rule, then uses his hammer to beat the crap out of him. :wgrin:
It is speculated among fans that the current Panther will be a different character for each story.
…and T’challa is badass, don’t be looking down on him like that.
I think Eric is taking a page from Polaris book on power retention. Hope doesn’t meet Electro.
re: Mag not Jewish
I think they un-Jewed him when he killed a bunch of peeps as Xorn, then re-Jewed him when he was reconed as not Xorn. Even if he’s not Jewish, he managed to survive the holocaust… I suppose he could be Romani, ethnic Polish, or even Soviet… and still been in the holocaust. Imho I think if they give him an ethnicity it will be Jewish… again.
your link denied me i’ll be back for the new green gamma gal glamazon  red Sonia though
I personally liked the first few stories Hudlin wrote of Panther and the last story arc by Jason Aaron. I am in the process of reading Priest’s run, but the disjointed narrating confuses me to heck:looney: However it does have some hilarious scenes and good action scenes as well.
I have to say the story arcs where Luke Cage was a supporting cast are my fav. I also liked how he handled Blade.
You just catching up on that? Yeah, I actually quite enjoyed that event, definitely one of Marvel’s best in recent years.
You mean besides fighting the Avengers in the next issue? I’m thinking something involving the Thunderbolts maybe kidnapping the president or something(since they already attacked AF1 in TB #128), and the DA going after them and making it look real for the cameras.
They’re building up Doctor Doom, so I’m thinking Morgan La Fey. She’s the enemy of one of Osborns little club. He has to protect him. Think of this as New Avengers with an entertaining twist.
Yeah i thought i was the only one that was like shocked at the ending but then again it does make sense that
SW#1
Spoiler
hydra has some sort of hand in like every organization. But i think its more to it than Nick Fury saying just “Hey i’ve been working for Hydra this whole time”. I think its a situation where he knows what’s really going on and wants to stop it.
Invincible Iron Man had the best ending though.

Magneto Testament just wrapped and the series was really good. Greg Pak tied actual historical events to Magneto’s time in concentration camps. Slowly towards the end you see Magneto’s personality changing and you start to understand why he thinks the way he does today.
There’s a forward by Pak thanking Claremont for making Magneto a Holocaust survivor and a Sonderkommando. Also for making Magda a Gypsy. And that was almost 30 years ago. Then Pak said the TPB will have lots of liner notes that will explain a lot of the historical events that went on in the book in great detail.
On top of this, in the back of the book there is a short story penciled and inked by Neal Adams and Joe Kubert. It was done in 2006 and it is a plea for Dina Gottliebova Babbit, a concentration camp survivor to get back several portraits of prisoners the Nazis forced her to paint. A museum in Auschwitz has been holding them and does not want to give them back. Dina went on to become an animator and worked on Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote, Speedy Gonzalez, Cap’n Crunch among others. While she was imprisoned she painted a mural on the wall of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for children that were about to be executed. There’s also an afterword by Stan Lee. The comic obviously goes in much greater detail of this real life situation.
Anyway, a very special book everyone should look into.
On a much lighter note, can’t say I’m too thrilled about Marvel “reinventing” 2099 with Timestorm. BUT because they are doing that, according to Comic Shop News Marvel will put out a TPB for PAD’s Spider-Man 2099 series! It will collect the first 10 issues! :clapdos:
