On a side note, I am loving X-23. The only problem is finding a team that helps her get in for the kill, which can be pain when someone like Arthur is on the other side of the screen throwing knives, or Iron Man is able to fly away and start the chase all over again. I just wish Deadpool could fire his guns horizontally and Katana-rama hit anti-air because it would be so much easier.

I started playing around with Tron/Doom/Skrull. They seem…okay. Maybe not together like that, though. Dunno.
Also, it seems that playing this game has totally killed my hands. I only found this out after doing dough today. Ow.

You could try Tron’s flamethrower assist, videos of ClackyD’s Tron/Morrigan/X-23 are disguisting
Doom , Storm or Sentinels assist will help laura(X-23) get in against projectiles. Molecular shield and Drones allow for mix-ups and lock down where whirlwind gets you in only . However Storm as a character outclasses both when it comes to meter building. Depends on your third teammate and what your looking for.

Motorack: I run x-23, Taskmaster and Doom, and it works pretty well. Hidden missiles and horizontal shot assists for Task and Doom, respectively. If you run in that order, you can DHC out of x-23 rage trigger using Taskmaster vertical arrows, Doom sphere flame, or both. x-23 low assist allows for greasy setups with Taskmaster on point for big damage, and Doom can keep away for days when things get hairy.
Yeah, I was experimenting with Doom’s assists and they really help X to get in more than I thought. I’m also trying out Dante so if X gets taken out I can still rush down with Dante, and he has the teleport to get in and I can try to land a crossup on Doom’s assist and keep the pressure on. This will need more time to see if it actually works outside of a handful of matches though.
Assists are so amazing, they can help setup so much neat shit. I can’t believe how much I am enjoying Marvel 3 though. I’ll sit down and go over some move lists, and automatically have a new idea for something to try. That never happened with me in Super 4.
Yeah, and you really gotta have a good set-up for some to work as well and well… some just aren’t good at all. For instance, you’re not going to get anywhere using Ryu’s hadouken assist or Zero’s hadangaki as an assist. They’re best used to extend combos. Low attacks like X-23’s assist or Deadpool’s quick work does wonders for her corner combos.
So really, it’s more like only certain assists are good. Whereas others are useless.

Storm/Dante/Dormammu is the only one that kinda jumps out if your set on Dante.
Deadpool for the easy DHC from Dante? Or maybe Trish for more keep away traps to match Dorm? I’m not very good with suggestions, I just press buttons.
