Yup! everyones welcome man just bring whatever skill level your at and a stick/controller/copy of the game/console…so far its mostly 360 stuff. You live in town I assume?

Right now its a weekly thing just call the store the day of if your unsure and ask if the Street Fighter/fighting game casuals is going on. There isn’t a fee but the owner asks for like a 2 buck donation for projector bulbs , etc which is fine with me.
Hopefully we get the cabs on free play this week (store move kinda didn’t make it happen last session but just in case bring a bunch of quarters).
We have probably met before as I was at the second SF4 tournament at the Dartmouth store. That tournament is what made me want to do a dual mod for my stick. My stick only worked for PS3 at that time and I couldn’t use it since the tournament was run on 360.
I also got my ass kicked at the tournament… hahaha. I only used Sagat at that tourney and I didn’t fare too well. I’ve been working on learning a new main since, but I’m not doing too well with that either, but I’m having fun trying… hahaha. I look forward to having some actual competition in person. I find that online is pretty laggy for me, and my friends aren’t into fighting games at all.
As far as what “my game” is, I’d have to say SF4 at this point. I used to go to the arcade back in the day for some SF2 and MK action, but didn’t really play fighting games much since then until this revival that happened with SF4. I also like SSF2THD Remix. I haven’t tried BlazBlue yet.
Anyways… I hope to get over to the store and play some games!
EDIT: I can bring a PS3 or 360 depending on the needs. I have my custom stick that works on both consoles and an SE for PS3. I only have a copy of SF4 for PS3, and I have SSF2THD Remix for both consoles. I also have all the characters unlocked in SF4 on 360, but just don’t have a copy of the game.
Don’t worry about where your at level wise…just come hang out , meet everyone,enjoy, and learn. Hell I openly tell people, I just use cammy and its very evident both ways.

Cool shit omega, very tight stick. A lot nicer than mine will probably end up being, but I guess that’s what you get when you take a project on by yourself, lol. You should definately show up on Monday.
Anyone in the area looking to get into some MvC2 other than Toshin? I’m willing to help people out with the basics but it does require considerable time to really learn the game.
And yeah, I am getting kind of hooked into A3… another game I’m going to have to try and learn. I’m getting worried about spreading myself too thin and not actually getting anywhere with any game :S Oh well, I guess a lot of stuff is transferable between games, especially big things like zoning and countering. So i guess it’s not all bad

I would have been down for sure Toshin, I was only up there the weekend and just got home about half an hour ago. I would have played for sure man and brought my stick and stuff. I’m unfortunately going to miss out on the monday event. I’m pretty sure that I will be back up.
I’m going to be back up next weekend(I should be anyways.) It was some good games of baseball, now I want to play some good games of Blazblue. I’ve been away for a little while and have to take care of some of my duties(I couldn’t have stayed until Monday anyways, I have to build a mound from scratch…i hate it, but a promise is a promise).
I’m thinking sometime in the new year. I’m still getting back into the fighting scene. The termonology and stuff…so yeah people who actually like the games in real life is awesome that way I can learn some of the stuff quicker than perchance a message board and learn some of the really hard stuff easier by just watching others finger and then the execution of the moves on the screen.

I’ll probably bring my console again with MvC2, SF2 HDRemix, BlazBlue and KoF12. I’ve also got SF: Anniversary with old school SF2 as well as SF3:3rd strike.
I was a fan of Edma, but YEB. how can you not like him? I mean come on, it goes to show you that any character can actually be well if you play them correctly, it’s true there are teirs and most will be in tears about it, but let’s just face it, you know that it’s the truth.
I enjoy the game and don’t always have to win to enjoy, sometimes I love to just watch and watch the people fight back and forth, I don’t know how many times I’ve seen something and been like “huh? you can do that?” and learned it that way.
I had fun! I’ll be back again next week… hopefully play better. I did win a match in the tournament though, and had a good match with Pwncore. Some of you are leaps and bounds better than me!
I have a Street Fighter Anniversary stick and a Tekken 5 stick, both for the PS2. I can bring them on Monday. I also have a couple of Ascii Fight Pads and a boatload of Dreamcast games if there’s any requests.
interesting! Dreamcast would be fun …maybe you could ask around this week see if anyone would be down just to give a weeks notice if anyone needed to lug DC stuff around.
