Pro-Russian separatists not Russian separatists.
Most of the people involved are not Russian though many have Russian ancestors because of the USSR.
There are many Pro-Russia Ukrainians.
Putin isn’t sending these people over the border. These are Ukraine’s citizens both Russian and Ukrainians standing for what they think no matter whether its right or wrong to us.

If nothing else, then even if you were actually correct about all your conspiracy theories, no one is ever going to believe you with the way you and people like you come off. Amusingly, you’re getting pissed off me for basically being as misanthropic as you but just not as reverent since I get that mankind has always been ignorant and that there was never a “golden age”, so to speak. No one is saying that isn’t some–well, a lot of–hypocrisy when it comes to the U.S.'s involvement in certain things and how it’s both viewed (positively) by others and views itself. There’s unfortunately hypocrisy in pretty much all forms of politics though; I thought that rather went without saying. I agree that it’s tiresome.
That said, while you are correct that there are pro-Russian people who are actually Ukrainian, I’m not really sure how any of what you said absolves Russia’s pretty obvious involvement given someone had to both supply and train the separatists in how to use this Buk weapon. So, no, Russia didn’t pull the trigger directly, but between supporting this forced secession and most likely giving the weapon to the rebels & training them how to use it…
This wouldn’t be surprising. This makes Russia look really bad, even if it’s most likely something that was accidental and even if Putin himself likely doesn’t really give much of a damn. Given that fact that pro-Russian elements have control of the site and were the first on-site since they caused the accident and…yeah. This is why I wasn’t surprised when I heard that Buk weapon got taken (back) to Russia.
