According to the news investigators discovered that once the transponder was turned off the plane continued flying for another 5 hours.
At this point I definitely think it was either a hijacking or pilot sabotage. Pilot doors are deadbolted from the inside once the plane is in the air, so the only way for hijackers to get in is the pilots opened it manually. If the pilot is the one who decides to go rogue, GGPO.
The story of the flight attendant carrying people on her back - due to her strong calf muscles yes - should’ve been one Matriarchnessmonster would’ve remembered for vagina power
But her people, the wht checkbox majority, ran over a little girl with a firetruck on the way to the plane. So who was driving, miss daisy?!
So areas are off the grid where radar can’t reach like all the jungles of Thailand, but that was a few days ago of keeping up. “Probably the most expensive plane rescue/search ever done”
Hijacking? It’s been over a week now…what’s taking them so long to start making demands and shit? And why haven’t the other passengers reported in yet (unless they were shot or shit like that)?
Sadly, the most “tragic” thing about this from a First World Problem perspective is how the 24/7 “news” networks keep abusing the phrase “breaking news” just to talk about how they still don’t know shit as per usual. I’d ask why speculation counts as “news”, especially “breaking news”, but it’s not like that is anything new itself. It’s just really disgusting to see them so obviously whore this out for ratings, which I don’t even really understand in the first place since Americans tend to only care about if anything happens to Americans, which there were only three of max on the plane. I have to cynically wonder if there would be nearly as much reporting about this in the States if there weren’t any Americans on the plane at all given how much we Americans suck at geography, even with all the “mystery”.
As for the fate of the plane, I hate to speculate considering I’ve been made relatively apathetic to this story already due to the glut of so-called reporting on the issue non-stop, but it seems pretty clear at this point that at the very least it was some type of inside job. Not necessarily (read: probably not) a government conspiracy, but at least one of the pilots had to be “in” on it in some way, if only due to stupidity given that apparently the co-pilot had let people into the cockpit before. (Aside: Admittedly, even if that wasn’t possibly the case, I’d be pointing out how uncomfortable the “locks from the inside” system makes me even if I know why it’s there. You’d think there would be some key given to one or both of the pilots or something in case the other decides lock the other out and try to commit mass murder-suicide.)
Regardless, the people on it at probably dead or, at least, wish they were dead since the only real way I could see them being still being alive at point would be the human trafficking angle someone brought it up. I suppose it’s possible they could all being held hostage if the plane didn’t crash and we just haven’t gotten ransom yet since that would a fuck-ton of people to ransom and no doubt be majorly complicated. I mean, hell, terrorist organizations and pirates have routinely kidnapped people without clearly informing that person’s country of origin for years and that’s usually just a single person or most a group of people in single digits. To try to move, much less ransom, more than two hundred people just seems… too cumbersome and likely to bring down international powers on you, even as ineffectual as NATO is. So…yeah, those people are probably dead unfortunately even if the plane didn’t crash.
The plane itself might show back up at this point, but most likely as a huge ass bomb aimed at India or something if it didn’t actually crash. The silence from the hijackers–provided they exist–would make sense then since there’s no reason to telegraph an attack or that you have a new weapon, “chatter” aside. Outside of the plane disappearing, nothing actually “happened” for terrorists to take credit for, especially since as I just pointed above, ransoming that people seems like it would be way too much of a logistical issue.
That’s all just speculation though, of course, which I can admit unlike the news, which will probably get bored anyway with covering the “mystery” ad nauseum, especially when some new tragedy for them to fap over inevitably comes up, related to this or not.
“prays” for missing American white girl soon
It is getting pretty close to Spring Break after all.
Uh…where would we run then? Albuquerque? (Gods that is a really fucking tough place to spell.)
No. Pismo Beach. They have all the clams we can eat. But, we’ll have to go through Albuquerque to get there. Just don’t forget to make that crucial left turn.
Yeah, boy, you don’t hang that left, you don’t know WHERE you’ll end up. You’ll turn up on Slaughter Ave in the worst part of Detroit, or pop up in the showers at a maximum security prison.
In the event that the equipment malfunctions and is sending the wrong data to ATC, they need to do it. If they’re maintain proper altitude, they can still be picked up on manual radar.
