Jab xx tenshin is super cheap by the way, I would rather have them nerfing that instead of rekka range lol
If Makoto gets that 1f more active frame in her karakusa like the japanese were proposing, then it will be practical.
So many nasty things comes up to my mind…
For exemple against Boxer, you could do st lp xx karakusa, if he tries to headbutt the st lp, you would block it in time. Same thing against other “slow” invincible reversals… Viper, Rufus etc
Edit: Actually, the above isn’t possible. It would only be possible if it was with the first active frame, as you could just buffer the input in the jab. =(
Damn impact freeze lasts around 10 frames for light attacks, as said in sonichurricane.com, so I don’t think we can “hide” the karakusa in the recovery of the jabs as Fei can.

Call me stupid, but I never thought of using TC1 against Hakan like that.
from the time he picked ryu I knew he was going to loose. its not a bad matchup for ryu but rather a predictable MU for haitani.
haitani uses U2 more often than I expected!
No idea why he didn’t just used Akuma.
It’s a good match up for him, even tho we can’t be Tatsu > sweep.
Haitani knows very well the MU against Akuma,he trained a lot with Tokido,that’s why. The “WTF he’s doin’” face on Sako looking at Infiltration checking on his phone is so hilarious.
Zhi just talked about it right now, he asked Infiltration and apparently he thinks Akuma - Makoto is in Makoto’s favor after training with Bigdanmul.

gouki vs makoto is in gouki’s favor imo! I’m interested in knowing just why he thinks it’s the other way around.
I’ve been saying its 5-5 at worst guys lol. he really can’t abuse as much on makoto as with other characters. if far hk didnt always hit twice it would be worse for him.
Well, there’s definitely a few arguments that are obvious
Makoto can’t be Tatsu > sweep
Akuma dies as soon as Mak touch him.
Mak can punish poorly spaced Air fireball
But beside that, I’m pretty surprised too.
We don’t really have the best way to get in. Good air fireball game lock us down pretty well, Akuma till get a lot of sweep because of how Mak approach is done, and you can’t Fukiage most of his setups.
I guess it’s almost like talking about the Seth match up. The mix up and overall game might be in their favor, but it’ so volatile sometimes, especially against someone like Haitani.
Seth is even easier.
Tokido is going to the capcom cup, right ?
I’m interested in seeing him play against Haitani now. It’s actually being a while since I saw Mak vs Gouki at high level.
Mad respect to Xian and Haitani for bringing these two characters so far…
I was at the edge of my seat watching Haitani play this mu. I thought it was a good move on his part switching to ultra 2, it was just messed up when the ultra auto corrected and brought him back to Xian rather than escaping the corner.
