Thatâs a cool set up. I wouldnât call it an unblockable/hardtoblockable but more of a hard to see fake cross up. Howâs it do against reversals/wake up dashes/fadc dashes?
Iâll change it to Fake cross up.
Goukenâs Ultra, Super, regular tatsu and EX.tatsu will whiff so you can get a full punish,but you can backdash and focus dash out of it. And you canât duck it.

Something I stumbled upon while tooling around in training mode earlier today. Iâm sure this isnât anything new, but I was surprised to see I couldnât find anything about it on the net.
HP xx hayate cancel on hit normally leaves you at +5 on a standing opponent and +4 on a crouching opponent so on counterhit that gives you 3 extra frames to play with making it possible to land the ultra, the thing is itâs something you have to expect and to buffer accordingly and react to so itâs extremely rare to land.

Nevermind I can do the super after a non full animation U2+fuki. Love for the charge hayate combos. At min 1:18 the Oroshi before the FA then U1 is meaty? Rest of the vid is just for fun.
Itâs not that hard. It just takes practice. Itâs easier to confirm than meaty st.mp ultra and thatâs something you actually see occasionally.
imo the problem is that she just doesnât have many super good st.hp counterhit setups.
Sure when the opponent is crouching itâs more limited.
I actually just went back into training mode after looking at the frame data that you gave me and it turns out that you can do it on a standing opponent too. For whatever reason I just wasnât inputting the ultra quickly enough yesterday.
Works on standing too, like he said. st.hp is 6 frames, so if ch st.hp hc st.hp works, ch st.hp hc U1 works too since U1 is also 6 frames.
