This is a one way fight, but still, it’s my first blockakusa outside the training room. I’d be gratefull hearing any criticize.
I’m looking for a way to perform karakarakusa constantly. Any tip ?
I love how you caught his focus at the end of round one. As far as blockakusa goes, this match made me realize how much I use it because I saw several instances of where I would have but you didn’t. Not that anything is wrong with that! In fact I maybe over relying on it
I dont master at all the blockakusa. This is why i dont use it, and i am not used to use it. By the way, i think that mixing up is more effective if you widen the range of your mixups. That’s what i am trying to do even if i lack of good execution and knowledge. That clk, hayate to beat his focus attack was really random. I wonder which moves are the fastest to break a focus. stand lk + stand mk target combo or maybe stand lk hayate ? stand lk karakusa canceled may be good.

Seriously. Did Capcom intentional make Makoto to be Akuma’s breakfast?
I remember VRyu posted a detail match up guide to Akuma and said U1 was useless against Akuma (could someone point me to this post, I need to study it again). Playing ShinAkuma204 I found no real benefit in U2. I find it rarely got me out against this Akuma player. He even demoned my escape U2 from the corner to the other side of the screen. I know I suck at U2, but now I have officially lost faith in this ultra as a serious choice.

But i think makoto does have option against akuma.
First, you forget that you have a Fukiage that can lead to a 20-30% combo. Then, i think there’s a sentence that every makoto player should have in their mind :
“the slower you move, the faster you die” =)
