Here’s my mak! I had a number of wins since climbatize was goofing around with tons of characters, but let’s stick to the losses, more to be learned there.

Ten hour stream and he only appeared once? One and out huh?
That was 3v3 though, singles was today, not sure how vryu did, I just caught top 3. Vryu was on stream watching the finals, so not quite one and out

3 days of complete shit for me.
Day1:
3vs3 against ryan hart. He’s knockdown in the corner. I was like “ok, ill jump forward to make whiff his obvious reversal tiger uppercut and i win”. -> last 0.0000005 sec, i changes my mind “oh no, lets straight jump.” -> reversal TU fadc u1 -> im dead…
Day2:
5vs5 against D44:
- missed a tsurugi (could do u1 after it) in a jump MK…and yeah, he did a throw…
- missed punishment of “whiffing canon spike setup”…
- i’m out
Day3:
- lost to f-word (ibuki) in winners -> after the match, i told myself that i could karakusa his 178328 times FA backdash on wakeup
- lost to RF in loosers -> infinite dash into his crMP OS Ex tiger shot.
Bah. Played like a noob during all the weekend, made really bad decisions, missed so much things.
The kind of tournament where you think “ok i’m done with this f***** game”

Tried a ton of things, but couldn’t get even a semi-decent frame-rate (xfire, camstudio, gfwl embedded recorder, wegame [couldn’t install wegame…some company bought it I guess]). Ended up using bandicam, it drops the framerate down to around 20-25 fps during recording, so I record replays instead of recording during the match. My laptop isn’t so hot in the processing department, not sure if that’s the issue, but I’m gonna say it is, since I’ve done so much diagnostic stuff on it lately that I doubt it’s a software problem.

Blah, you had that round at several spots! I didn’t notice the missed kara-ex karakusa, but yeah, all those whiffed normals have gotta hurt. I think I would visably flinch if I or my opponent had that many hiccups. Despite all the mess-ups, I’m still in awe of your play. Even vryu playing at 1/10th his capacity could get a 100 win streak on me no sweat.
Honestly though, you weren’t playing well cause, obviously, they didn’t have your color. The yellow was throwing off your chi.
We all have those days with execution errors… those can be fixed… I think. Man you just had a bad day. I know you know I understand that very well…:(. Dont let it break your confidence though. you’re still top 3 in the world man so you’ll be back.
One question though. Was it just the execution errors or did you find any matchup issues?
Hey, I thought it was a pretty good match. BUt everything I observed you could have done differently, you mentioned in your commentary- except you said you didnt deserve that first round which I think you did. I dont know the rose match up either except that if she activates orbs and is somewhat close, most roses will do that anti air move either to catch your jump away or to land behind you with the orbs crossing you up. Also Ive done U2 against the orbs and made it through! Last I didnt know at first that her spiral move (the one she extend her blazing arm and slide toward you) is quite punishable on block. I used to sit there blocking because it seemed like a frame trap. Also now that im thinking about it, she doesnt have a wake up move so once you knock her down, you should be able to apply some pressure. I think she has several great normals at work from distance or go over some of your low attacks so its hard to fight rose who has her zoning and spacing down. Other then that, Im really getting into using lk tsurgi over fireballs (not rose specific but hey)
For Vryu- we all know you better then them guys and l look forward to seeing your top 32 then 16 then 8 EVO matches : )

Well before me or Chronika paints that dhalsim player in a bad light-
I met up with him several nights in a row, he keep using Yun. Then he switched back to dhalsim and beat me.
I especially like u2 set up he got me with at end of round one. I may have still pulled the game out if I didnt miss my U1 after I karakusa’d him. Oh well…

Next is me vs a cody player. I won the set about 13-3. He switched to guy for one match

oh, bage is mos def one of the better dhalsims. if i had no experience against towners dhalsim, my computer would be broken by now.
rose v dhalsim is one of my favorites but i lose more often than makoto v dhalsim

Yeah after watching haitani shiro is kinda boring. While haitani’s matches may possibly be rigged : ) they are just so entertaining!
