Makoto’s c.LK xx EX Hayate buffer beats Fei’s c.MK from near the tip. Not only that, Makoto’s c.MP almost always beats it.
Yun’s EX command grab is throw invincible, like Yang’s. It originally wasn’t put on the wiki, but the author recently rectified that.
5 frame grab, 1.3 range, throw invincible, combos into death and beyond, and he has a whole mess of junk to make you hold down-back. Okay.

basically his ability to whiff punish most of makoto stuff. His cr.mp is fast and links to itself and rekkas on CH. upclose, cr.lp xx rekka interrupts a lot of stuff. His corner lockdown is hard to deal with (unless using UC2)
3 frame c.LP xx Rekkas with disgusting range means no blocked EX Hayates or worse, whiff punishing galore, his ability to keep her cornered like nobody’s business if she has no U2, the fact that s.MP xx HK CW works on her, his neutral jump HK and FA are godly (which we all know Makoto can have difficulties with), you can’t jump at him ever, and the fact that online CWs are hard to counter unless you leave yourself open to his safe pressure. Not to mention all his natural advantages like c.LK chains and FADC’able DP with mix-ups galore if he has two meters.

How do you guys punish immediately crossed up moves, like Yun’s DP going right over you? Every time I get a Fukiage instead of a Hayate, and I can’t start holding down during combos and when baiting … do you guys just do a c.HP? I’m so tired of getting c.MP xx EX Fukiage! Yamase is too slow too.

You have to let the stick return to the neutral position before attempting the hayate, sucks getting a fukiage instead of hayate after blocking an EX psycho crusher from point blank.
I’ve actually thought about this since it happened to me three times in a row for one of my matches. I was so frustrated.
Have you tried to dash > karakusa on Yun afterwards? That way you just have to have your timing after a choke down.
What’s the best way to continue pressure on bison’s wake up? Is there a decent OS to cover that silly teleport he has?
BTW played Makoto at the Irish Evo qualifier and made it to top 16, promise I’ll do her proud at next years
You can Os dash to follow him and get a free combo. If he has meter…go for Os jump back to be safe.

EX oroshi > HP hayate whiff > meaty HP oroshi:
beats Counters, EX pinwheel and backdash. Well it actually trades with EX pinwheel, but its in your favor and you only get hit once while Juri takes full damage of Oroshi + knockdown.
