Second, I don’t know where you got your assumption from, but this Iyo vs Shiro match is from about 2 years ago, and is casual play at More arcade in Shinjuku. Also, note that Shiro is one of the top Japanese CvS2 players who eliminated Daigo from the first national Japanese CvS2 tournament. So Iyo’s Maki losing to Shiro’s Sagat (for one game even) isn’t much of a big deal. Let’s put your Maki against Choi’s Sagat and see how well you do.
Go back to keeping your CvS2 Live stats and see if anybody cares.

I don’t know what you expected from your posting or Iyo’s Maki, but a random person coming into a thread and shitting on somebody else’s videos obviously isn’t going to get any respect. Especially if that random person just assumes for no apparent reason that the video came from evo, and the Maki he’s shitting on is widely regarded as the best in the world.

anyway, i know Ver switched out A-eagle for A-maki on his team. his maki got pretty much owned by Ino’s K-sagat in the SBO finals, so while the video is current, it isn’t very good footage of maki. maybe there’s some footage of ver or iyo in some new a-cho videos, but i haven’t come across any yet.

I was playing my friend’s K groove last night.
I used Jumping medium punch… Air to Air… and he JD’s the hit… but I cancled the Jumping medium punch to Hcf+ punch air throw. I thought that was pretty cool.:o

yea i remember me and a friend both playing k groove…i was maki he was mai…we kept jumping at each other doing medium attacks and just defending each others hit. it looked all dbz-ish lol

Setups for her Air throw:
these are just some thoughts i had in mind
Against P and K groovers… this would probably be the best groove to use her command air throw against(for obvious reasons)
and NOT against A, N, or S groove since they are less prone to jumping randomly…
Because her air throw is hcf motion, it’s seems to me that it’s a bit more tricky to throw people out of the air than people like cammy/guile/chunli/etc
to bait them into jumping and predicting is what i’m trying to get at…
-what are some normal moves you use that often results in the opponent jumping?
let’s say i do a c.fierce from half screen away
-it’s relatively safe
-does it result in the opponent jumping? maybe… i dunno, but if they often jump after i throw out certain random moves from half screen+ away, then i can psychic air throw
Post air throw whiff:
let’s say your opponent doesn’t jump and you just jumped in the air and whiffed the air throw…
there could be a chance that you shocked ur opponent with the air throw jump and tricked them into blocking, thus when you land, it’s a free ground throw before they can react…
