I’m very excited for the addition of Storm. This means I finally have my team assembled! Chun/Viper/Storm.
A very important nerf is that Storm’s Lightning Hyper no longer knocks down… meaning no more juggle DHCs or OTG follow ups.
I think I should make a list for which non-grab Hypers actually knock someone down, because those are usually the most important ones, especially ones that knock down in the air.
Maximum Wesker is a hyper you should probably put down; it basically acts the same way LS did on the last hit in MvC2.
Celestial Brush as well, but it knocks down way faster.
Now that I think about it. Storm doesn’t have the ability to KFC follow up any of her hypers, thank god…
Another thing I could see as annoying is if Trish and Storm are on the same team and laying traps and calling vertical typhoons…
Thank god my ass, that severely hurts her when a majority of the cast can Hyper>KFC>Hyper.
But shit, look at her. Full screen hyper, radius hyper, hyper that keeps you still to be punished, fast speed, great normals for zoning, flight, and all that other stuff. Seriously, still high tier.
How do yall know Storm cant KFC any of her hypers? She can Xfactor the same way everyone else can. I dont see how she couldnt cancel into two lighting storms.

Also i can see her KFC the hyper where she calls for gaia, freezes you and hits you with the wind.
I also noticed with that hyper that no matter where u hit from the screen after the initial hit she comes hella close which would make KFC gawdlike if u could unlike meteor shower which is full screen everytime.
Again you can’t KFC in the air (which is where both her lvl 1 hypers have her), and you can’t KFC lvl 3 hypers so no you can’t KFC that hyper where she calls for gaia.
There’s no proof that we can’t KFC Level 3’s, but the practice itself would seem pointless.

I’m going to be using Storm just for the sexiness that is her new outfit and that new Super.
As for what she’ll be able to cancel, who knows what kind of build they’re playing on. For all we know it’s the final build and the new super is a level one. I also see no reason for why she wouldn’t be able to X-Factor or DHC from her Hail Storm, Lighting Storm supers.

There isn’t except for one crucial thing, YOU CAN’T KFC IN MIDAIR!!! That leaves Hail Storm COMPLETELY out of the question, and who does ground Lightning Storms?
