Currently, there isn’t a Captain and we may only have 4 countries attend.
Most likely we may play for team Canada at the event the day before.

That sounds like a great idea as im sure there will be enough solid players between EC and WC canada attending. You might need to find a gatekeeper to weed out the timewasters like last year lol
Marvel 5-on-5 is gonna be crazy (if it goes down).
Actually… I’m more excited to see people trying to qualify for team Canada in Marvel if it happens. A lot of sleepers and unknowns, and with how crazy Marvel is, it could be very interesting!

Saw on twitter you seemingly on-the-spot gave Ricky Ortiz Team Captain of USA Team 2. Being that you did this, does this mean you have a gauge of how many teams you have so far for Canada Cup and does this mean that it will for sure be 16 teams? Would you give us some hints on the teams you have thus far (at least the new teams)? How many Japanese teams will there be? Will you have a TEAM UK, TEAM FRANCE and so on instead of Team Europe (or maybe both?)
Would you give us a teaser?
Also for Marvel does this mean there will be a TEAM JAPAN for it?! If it is please try to get KuSORU/Rei-Chan (KusORU though losing to KUBO at SBO beat Killar Kai 2-1 and beat Jan and Mihe in a FT10) for it? If Team Japan comes and it doesn’t have either of those two this may be just another FGTV beat down that everyone will expect to see again !
At the moment I would say Season’s Beatings and Canada Cup seem to be the two biggest tournaments to look out for and with the gimmick Canada Cup brings, it has a lot of potential! May it all go well for you!
And may we see some upsets from unknown teams! (=^.^=)

There is no team 2nd team for USA for umvc3. Its only for AE.
I think you guys should graduate Marvel for toddlers first before you try to play with the big boys from out east.

Looks like quan is out. Got put in to losers by one of our best players in Edmonton and one the best in Calgary. I’d say that means you guys could learn from us? Also that mm bee won was pretty sweet too.
