Air was the captain from last year and is a CCG representative. the same could be said about Jozhear but he was not the captain last year so he had to earn his spot honestly just like Snafoo and Chi-Rithy would have to as well.
I think chi rithy deserves a spot tbh. Love and respect to joz and air but he’s by far the most established ae2012 player from Canada at the moment
IMO atleast the runner up of the MTL qual should be given a chance to play in the wild card tourney.
It would have been nice if the MTL guys went to TO (and vice versa) to compete at each others quals as well.

Last year AFTER all the free booze from Highwood (10 bottles) was gone, Team CCG (and by that I mean Boss Lap Chi) still had to cover a disgustingly large amount of the VIP booze bill. After he took care of his own tab at that!
This year that won’t happen. The amount of freebies is directly proportional to our sponsors. I’m in talks with them right now but everyone, please understand that we love doing these wrap ups. They’re as much for our sanity as they are for all of you, but they can’t cost as much as the prize bonus for AE ever again lol.
That’s good news! Though Team Caribbean in the end would be more like Team Dominican Republic. For team synergy I think it would be better to put a team that knows each other and plays each other as last year both Team Europe didn’t fare very well. Either way, whoever is on the team no matter what country they do represent the whole region not just that country as all the Caribbean players took pride on VxG results.

Other islands: Not enough exposure to comment.

These 3 have been traveling to tournaments and seem to be the strongest 3 at least publicly.
Others: Haven’t seen many recent tournaments lately from Switzerland. I do Remember 4K and Fuma being on the WGC team but not sure where they stand in term of skills. I remember I used to watch Streatz videos and it would be neat if he leveled up to the point where he can be on the team! But Ryu is for Easyman.
Any news on Brasil as a possible team? Though from the looks of it I think Team Caribbean, if the best players go, would be the strongest team out of the 3 mentioned. Though most would be familiar with Switzerland.
So far most of the teams seem solid. The biggest 3 underdogs as of now would be Team Canada, Team Netherlands and Team Caribbean but I’m pretty sure Caribbean has the potential to surprise. And we still have deadly potential killers like China still not confirmed. I may be in the minority here but I don’t think Team Japan isn’t as strong as others seem to think. I think having 1 strong yet unfamiliar face(in terms of competing outside of Japan) would have made them deadly. Like last year Kazu and S. Nerosis did the most damage. Still a solid team(though remember the “weaker” team with less name power won last year).
Team Switzerland would be amazing, i think v-ryu can do alot of damage and easyman’s particular style is always a sight to behold and stapcriss’ gouken can suprise alot of people
I would be very dissappointed with france if they dont send a team out to be honest, they have been a center of european street fighter for a long while.
I am very interested in Team Carribean, along with us they bring that “unknown” factor 
When can we expect, more complete schedule information? Specifically for, pools on the twenty sixth. I’m sure I’m not the only university student with, a midterm that day.
