Good shit soundpros. I’ve had very little motivation to play marvel lately, but I’m definitely going to have to play around with those variations the next time I hit the lab<br>
Nice posts thanks for the style updates.
Niggas, I’ll need your help.
I’m thinking of dividing each post into 2 spoilers: one for the older version and one for the newer one.
Or maybe I’ll just say fuck it to the old one, though I don’t really feel like doing that.
Anyway, send vids my way of the most reliable ways to setup the new infinite on character, and try not to give me some size-dependent bullshit . I know alioune did some of them, so if you could repost them for me to see and update the first post, I’d be thankful.
So to clean up the thread abit 2 spoilers for old setup, new setup, consistent setups on different directions, and styling variations? If I can get some free time ill send and upload video to help out hopefully some stuff i found aren’t upload yet
My fault for being late as hell I’ve been pretty busy. Anyways I have three videos of starters that I find the MOST consistent plus it gives extra damage+style. Execution wise its maybe abit tough at first but for Up TAC and Side TAC I would go for this because it you do it right you get the infinite. Also the starter is pretty much the same as the variation i came up with some time ago.
Notations: Down TAC > M > M > H > Airdash Upforward > L > H > Flight > Airdash Back > Airdash Forward Down > H > Airdash Up > Airdash Down > H > Airdash Up > Airdash Downforward > H > Unfly…
Notations: Up TAC > Airdash Downforward > Flight > H > Airdash back > Airdash downforward > H > Airdash Up > Airdash Down > H > Airdash Up> Airdash DownForward > H > Unfly…
Notations: Side TAC > Airdash BackDown > Flight > L > H > Airdash UpForward > L > H > airdash back> Airdash DownForward > H > Airdash Up > Airdash Down > H > Unfly…
Side TAC doesn’t have the extra Up down H because the flight starts early and ends early.
The Reason for doing the start up and how i found it to be consistent is cause flight characters can go up a certain distance until they hit an invisible wall during TACs Combos…so what I do it try to bring up the opponent to the invisible wall then start doing Airdash Back > Airdash DownForward > H > Airdash Up > Airdash Down > H > Unfly… The consistency of this starter is pretty much guaranteed but it all depends on your execution. Also I know there are certain characters where Corner Side TACs will not work cause of hitboxes and what not 1 exampled from what i can remember is Wolverine
Side TACs work fine on all characters, just have to do different variations for some.
For short wide wonky hitboxes (i.e. wolvie), try:
(TAC hits) wait about a second until magneto crosses over the top of the opponent, ADD j. H xx flight, j. LH adf H adf H addf H xx unfly, infinite
@ kanta - If you still need dry/consistent starters for the infinite, there is a universal up/down tac, a mostly universal side tac, and a wonky character side tac (as mentioned above) in my mvd combo vid - http://youtu.be/hwxYp2876z4
Edit - infinite shenanigans start at 3:21
Thanks!
(god this infinite looks ugly xD)
i have a quick question: If you start up this new infinite by doing some kind of Hypergrav > fly >blabla > unfly > infinite stuff, you can transition into the old one, if you wish so, correct?
Yeah if any hypergrav starter is timed correctly & finished correctly you can do the old H > S > Airdash downforward > M loop into any infinite variation but remember that Hypergrav doesnt allow for S to spike down to you got to end it with those old enders…i think it was like beam into magnetic tempest/shockwave or level 3
Oh yeah, you can’t spike afterwards, you’re right. I’ll put in a note for that somewhere. Thanks, again.
I’m editing that shit, also, I’m using ALioune’s video for reference, because seriously it’s the most straight forward and easy to grasp one www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0NgRLbO5K0
Yeah alioune’s video is the best reference cause he puts all directions + corner/midscreen. Also note that during midscreen infinite the airdash forward H > Airdash downforward > H > Unfly need to be at a certain height cause if it too high or too low you will not connect the L > M > H > Airdash Forward > M > flight. But do add my video and others ppl videos to give ppl some varations. If anything new comes up ill post.
So Im playing this old nigga now. Just wanted to say its nice to actually see a combo thread staying up to date lol.
Just don’t look at the Unfly section yet.
Look at this until I’m done updating it.
much appriciated.
Um hey guys been trying to learn the infinite set-ups from Alioune’s video, but I seem to be having trouble getting the staircase versions from high TACs to land with the TAC state still in tact. I’m not really sure what I should be looking for to get them to start so if anyone can help it’d be much appreciated :).
Just saying I’m not really sure on how high, a high TAC is if that’s a variable. Do I need to air dash / double jump past max SJ height to get a high?
When doing the up TAC to staircase you kinda have to do it a bit quick like 3-4 H’s and you have to make sure you arent to close to the floor for the last airdash down H…with that said it has to be quick because if you don’t you can’t cancel the last H to unfly.
hi guys, i have a problem with tac up and side and i think they come for unfly
is necesary unfly (first time) with qcb S / 214 S ???
i try this with unfly press S ( in tac down unfly with qcb S and no have problem)
tac up:
fly, dash-d, dash-df, dash-d, H unfly, infinite
tac side:
delay, dash-d, fly, l h, dash-f H, dash-f H, delay dash-df H, unfly, infinite
sorry for my bad english
Edit: yes in necesary unfly with qcb S this mode go 340 hit in tac side
Another small variation for his corner inf. Does a big more damage and is SUPER consistent vs all chars save sentinel but he’s free anyways
most consistent one that exists is LMH, adf, MH xx fly, LMH
