Man i suck at height control but i was able to come up with a slightly different variation of the rom pretty much the same just in a triangle no fancy stuff.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T86eRwxpsDo&feature=share&list=UUI-12LZ_aEvwVih6ENqsnEQ
Fuck that shit, I’m just gonna do the easiest one. Infinite is an infinite. It all does the same thing.

RIP old infinite ;_;
NAH MAN! Im still going to do that shit just start it up with the new joints
too lazy to look
what are people doing for midscreen infinite stuff for this new version?
Does anyone have a consistent corner side TAC variation for the new infinite yet? Up and down are free, side is a little harder to set up but I feel like the timing to start the infinite is frame tight, whereas up and down have no timing whatsoever.
Right now I’m using: TAC hits, brief pause (to put them back in the corner), ADD j. H xx fly, heavy loops, unfly, and heavy as you land to start up the infinite. With practice I might be able to make it consistent, but the timing is incredibly strict compared to the variation I use for up/down.
Any suggestions are appreciated! Having to corner carrying isn’t a big deal to me I guess, just looking for a side variation that is more consistent
TAC hits, ADDF to other side, fly, LH [ADF j.Hx3], ADDF H unfly, and hold up. be quick with the H after the ADDF
Yeah, I can make that WAY more consistent than what I was using. Many thanks… I doubt I’ll often get the chance to use it, but I don’t see any reason to put myself at a disadvantage by not learning it, ya know?
And do you know if there are any characters mag won’t completely cross under? It looks really close every time. lol
Edit: It won’t cross under zero, so probably chars with short fat hitboxes I should stick to up/down tac
Yeah, the ADDF > fly corner side TAC starter is too inconsistent as it doesn’t work on some of the more important cast. I made a video for the combo that I use, which should work on everyone and it isn’t too hard to get it down. I’m pretty sure that this variation can be used for all directions of the midscreen TAC as well, so you don’t really have to learn separate combos, but I just haven’t tested it on enough characters.
Notation:
Corner side TAC, ADD, fly, j.A, j.C, ADF, j.C, ADF, j.C, ADF, j.C, ADDF, j.B, unfly (normal input), jump up-forward, j.A, j.B, j.C, ADF, j.C, fly (reversed input), j.A, j.C, ADF, j.C, ADF, j.C, ADF, j.A, j.B, j.C, unfly, hold up, infinite.
For the midscreen setups, on an up TAC you start with ADDF, C hyper grav, fly… Side TAC starts with ADDF, fly… Down TAC starts with ADUF, fly…

Luis_fernando’s variation has been consistent for me. So far it doesn’t work on zero, which means it won’t work on shuma/wolvie, etc, but that’s not a big deal because I can still abuse how universal up and down TAC infinites are, and most of those characters it won’t work on are low health and I’ll be TOD’ing them from throws for free anyways.
Sweet variation though

I made this pretty easy variation that utilizes the full flight time. It’s not as cool as Alioune’s rom version (which I wanna do ;_; but my height consistency isn’t all that good.) But the infinite itself is VERY consistent and easy to identify if they’re going to drop. I did this infinite on pretty much the ones that count. Nova, Mag, Rocket, Wolvie, Hulk, Sentinel. I think it works on everyone.

check out alioune’s link above your post. that has all that good magneto infinites that are practical and also stylish
Whatsup guy i just found another variation thats pretty neat.
I call it the MadL for M>AD>L lol anyways M>ad.d>L can also be done like H>AD.D>L but the time is more strict and requires some height control. In the video i ended it early cause i wanted to put as much variation on the infinite.
that looks pretty sick bro. nice find aaaaaand it’s stolen lol
Can’t let this tread die heres somemore
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnOVyfd6CgY&feature=share&list=UUI-12LZ_aEvwVih6ENqsnEQ

bootleg doom airdash back for no reason and my MadL variation.
