hmm i get the same info. but nothing registers in the light up red section. sucks for me. and i actually bought my version of windows. im runnin legit homie.
i just hope my stick works on pc just like gsrarcās stick. i modified my xp disc using nlite but i only removed completely useless features such as pinball, solitaire and windows messenger. im sure it wont make the stick less likely to work.
well if it doesnt work on your system, you can still switch your system, format reinstall blaā¦
maybe it has something to do with where the dpad switch is located or if any buttons were held
try uninstalling all the homebrew and other device drivers you have installed restart the pc, then plug it in and check it out.
Mine works Vista Ultimate 64bit
why me ? nancy kerrigan status
swap usb ports or try on another computer perhaps, thats my last suggestion before attempting to reformat
trying another computer has been the best idea so far. 100% fresh install of xp home on a somewhat new dell laptop. still doesnt pick up the buttons or stick. argggh.
as i said before, test it out on your ps3 then post results. you might have a defective product.
when you pluged it in , did vista search for drivers and it worked straight outta the box, please be more specific.
My TE stick works on my PC at home. Iām running Windows XP Media Center Edition that came with my PC in 2007.
I first tried it on my friends PC and it didnāt work. My guess is that the stick requires newer Windows game pad drivers that older versions of XP donāt have.
Also I had to set the stick to LS.
Yeah. Just plugged it in and it worked. Vista automatically found drivers
But heres the big ? Do the PS3 sticks work onā¦ PS3?
LOL. Why yes they do. I know you where being silly but ya.
Only problem I had was there was a loose nut rolling around in the case. A friend of mine also ordered two sticks and there was things rattling around on the inside of both of his sticks.
rattlesā¦ wowā¦ i hope these are isolated incidence, or they arenāt as bad as you say
Damn, that sucks. I hope you can get it all sorted out. At least Mad Catz has a 90 day warranty on these.
I wonder if anyone here having problems on WinXP sp3 have done all their updates with Windows Update and with their relevant hardwareā¦
Iāve found in the past some USB peripherals Iāve used, Iāve had to update weird things on Windows and sometimes even DirectX (new end-user updates all the time with my computer not getting them through Windows Update although its set to manual).
Just an idea anyhow. Hope everyone enjoys their TEs and gets them working on their computers :wgrin: The world needs more Street Fighter players
I have the exact same problem. Fully updated SP3 XP, picks up the stick and doesnāt register any inputs.
EDIT: Itās Windows XP Professional SP3 32-bit.
My roommateās computer which has a fresh install of XP actually picks the whole thing up and it works fine there.
Really irritating, wish I knew what was up.
me too. me too.
