ok, my SE stick works on my bro’s mac but not on my pc.
will a $10 usb hub work? instead of buying a pci card?
no bro, the te dont liek the 2 hubs i own, i plug directly into the pci card,
which pci card should i get to make it work then?
If you read back a few pages, you’d know. Any PCI USB card that has a VIA chip will work.
so with the incompatibility issues between the different usb formats, does that mean that there is no software fix for this?

Was using a hub and the Stick was recognized but couldn’t map any buttons.
Plugged it directly and it worked.
Tested my PS3 TE on a laptop running vista and on a pc with XP and it works on both. It shows inputs on Control Panel. Didn’t test yet on emus and other stuff.
I just did what was said to do on page 7 and it worked. I bought a 7 dollar pci usb card from frys, I made sure it had a VIA chip and installed it last night. Worked instantly, since the card is old, windows found my drivers for me. Just buy the card guys, 7 dollars at fry’s.
if the hits register on the control panel game pad screen. then all you have to do, is map the buttons in your chosen application.
well done glad to hear you have it sorted, i really do feel for the guys that cannot fit a extra pci device in there systems, and hopefully madcatz come with some sort of solution.

EDIT: I just got another e-mail from MadCatz, this time from what I assume to be the US department. It seems as though they’re finally getting around to dealing with this problem. We may see a fix soon. Keep your fingers crossed, guys.

PS3 TE plugged directly into a winXP SP3 Intel machine. Is it normal for the led lights and turbo button not to work on a pc? Everything else is fine.
That’s perfectly normal. The LED and turbo lights will turn on only if you activate it.
