Opening the stick will void the warranty;however, you will not have to touch the panel art unless you are changing the artwork but then again, you can use the hairdryer trick for a clean peel to save the original artwork for later.
I’m opening mine up. Not worried about any warranty due to the fact that we can easily mod, fix or replace parts for our sticks. But, to each his own. Just love the DIY because then you don’t have to wait for up to a month to get anything back.

I was originally going to get this but they didn’t have it at evo and there no way I’m ordering it online since I’m in canada so I just ordered the hori diamond edition vlx instead.
Got #99 for XBOX 360. It only took 3.5 weeks to get to canada.

Replacing the A button fixed the issue.
Funny part: The A button wasn’t even Sanwa, it was a Madcatz knockoff. WTF?
