Only downer is that Focusattack is out of stock on the Sanwa OBSC 30mm Transluscent Pushbutton.

Never mind. I saw that they lowered the price from $55 originally to $30. On a side note, I finally got my stick! 197-300

So I ended up getting the translucent blue ball top, the clear shaft, 8 translucent blue Seimitsu buttons from FocusAttack, and then 8 Arceye 3’s and the Remora board from Toodles. I’ll also be dual-modding my XBox360 EVO Pro stick with the ChImp. Does anyone know if the buttons will light up when connected to both the XBox and PS3? I’d assume so, but I haven’t seen anyone say so explicitly. I’m looking forward to this mod!!!

Question to you guys to also have the stick. If you’re going to mod it, then what kind of modifications are you going to make to your EVO stick. I figure the point of the EVO stick is because it has the EVO art and clear blue shell. So that shouldn’t be changed, right? So if you do anything, would it just be buttons like MarkMan did to his? I just think modding it to look very different or completely different would have been a waste of money and you should have just bought a regular Fight Stick Pro for $100 instead.

Myself personally I don’t plan on doing anything to it. In fact, I’m not even going to use it much. I want to keep it in mint condition although I will use it from time to time. This one will be kept around more so as a collectors item compared to my other sticks which I leave sitting in the open.

Any modifications I make will be easily undo-able (Balltop change, button change, etc.)

The Remora needs something to power it up, so you need to hook the Remora to the VCC on the Chimp SMD.

In other words, yes it will work on both PS3 and Xbox.

You should have held out for clear or smoke buttons I think the point of the remora is to have multiple colors not just blue but to each their own

Well, I’m assuming that the blue translucent Seimitsus will just have a blue tint to the LED colors from the Arceye 3’s, right? It’s not like blue translucent + thousands of LED color possibilities will equal only blue, right? I think the blue translucent buttons would look better on the EVO Pro than just plain clear buttons when the stick is unplugged.

unless theses arc eyes are different everything shown threw the button is going to be blue its like any light that is shown threw a filter will take the color of the filter that’s why they always recommend clear or smoke if the user wants to use color led’s but blues a good color for the stick it matches

Cool, thanks for the link! I think I’ll try the mod with the blue translucent buttons first and if I absolutely hate the way it looks, I’ll order clear ones from Video Games New York. That’s a good deal, thanks!

Got my stick about a week ago unfortunately the A button decided to crap out on me(only works about 1/2 the time now) Guess I’ll just have to send it back to madcatz to get it fixed.

unlike the fightstick TE, you can’t open this one up without voiding the warranty or destroying the panel art, so it’s not a bad idea considering he may want to sell it down the line
