Actually Dante after the Dok Dorm extension into Dante allows for an easy unblockable reset. Of course you can finish with session into HBR into stalking flair. Get those hands going, + more Jam session to profit. Dok session pressure is actually pretty ridiculous and hole jamming bomb is easy.

Well I was thinking sent on the end isn’t to hot for Dok. I used to have a good sent combo though go for it. I like missiles because of teleporters

Compared to tatsu’s, jam session, drones, missiles, dark hole is a terrible lockdown.
From my training room time disruptor doesn’t do much for modok combo wise or rushdown wise since it’s not a knockdown. It’s ok for zoning though.

Dok Dante Dorm is brutal is fuck though. Don’t like the idea of no horizontal assist but my gawd this team has some extensions lol.
Even better since i’m pretty experienced with Dante Dorm.
Hopefully I can level up my modok enough for him to be viable for me.

I always liked Dorm 2nd so just go with whatever floats that boat. I don’t even play Dante, I play Jam Session.

It hurts my feelings when people just use jam session Dante is actually solid as fuck. I put dorm last because the dark hole extension for dante is sexy as a mofo and chipping people out with spells is amazing but Dante would be better on anchor.

hmm well my dormammu is shit but i want to get better with him. i’m trying to do a particular thing and i can’t do it and i don’t know if its because i dont understand the properties of stalking flare or what so maybe one of you guys can help me

i am using modok dorm, and i want to be able to DHC in the corner from Modok Battering ram into stalking flare, but I’m trying to DHC so that the opponent bounces on the stalking flare and I can charge to spells and then use liberation. Can anyone explain the properties of stalking flare and how to make it juggle for follow ups? hell, if you know how to do this with my team thats even better :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s the height and how fast they fall, simple as that.
I’m not a Dorm messiah but I know my fair share of Dorm you’re best bet is to take him to about halfway between the ground and max sj height also idk the properties of HBR but try to make the fall as slow and floaty as possible.

Kensanity, HBR twice forward, once up, and once/twice sideways…should do the trick. I always suck at timing the spells for a liberation though…

Okay, my official team is now Dok/Sent/Strange. It feels like barrier is the most important tool for my Dok vs others. What are my ideal stragies when the opponent is attacking my barrier like an idiot?

u have a video of this? i’m having trouble getting the 2nd “forward” of the HBR to hit because of the way the opponent is in the air. I’ve had more success with HBR forward, up, forward, forward, down or forward but even then its very inconsistent

So to start learning Dok I’ve decided to go with Mag, Dok, Sent and I have a couple of questions.

I’m assuming I’ll be opening people up with sent a decent amount whether it be with Mags or Dok so what assists should I use for them?
I’m leaning towards hypergrav for magnus so I can extent not only Modok’s combos but after a DHC to Modok. That being said I don’t know how good disruptor is for Modok so if I should switch away give me some reasons why.

What are some other Dok + Magneto shells other than anchor Doom?

Dok/Mag/Dante
Mag/Dok/Strange
Super Skrull/DOK/MAG

What assist would you recommend for DOK. PB looks good for zoning. But barrier is like ridiculously gimmicky and bomb can stop stupid incoming attacks. OH THE CHOICES.
I’m kinda tight since none of them give a more damaging ender into air tempest.

If you’re good at calling assists insidie block strings then try balloon bomb. (I’m not)
It’s great for pressure games. See “Rubeks” use of it for references. I always use blaster.

I do however have one final question.
I’m trying to find the corner BNB with Modok using hypergrav and sent charge assists.
Not fully optimized but I’d like to push it.
I’m doing cr.h > ad m > s mmh s > cr.m s mm l pb add s > cr.m + hypergrav + pb > f.h lp bomb > ad s then I could end at ad s > f.h > m blaster but I want to add sentinels assist and this is where I need help.
I’m pretty sure I can add sent assist after ad s but I don’t know how or what to do. If there is a better way to convert to sent assist throw it at me. PLEASE
I’d also like to do this sentinel extension after the air dhc from tempest to hpb where I can relaunch into a combo using magneto assist.

And while I"m at it I don’t understand how to HBR. I’m having a lot of trouble neatly getting the inputs because I don’t know how to time them. Also I know the safest option is u ff d but what’s the most damaging because I’m about to kill and how can I get it so that the tempest DHC will connect afterwards?

Don’t mash HBR just chill and tap the button after every thrusting sound.
As far as Sent extensions, best to look at NOS99 old vids, I’m pretty sure he had a few in there my old extension was
something like this, f+H, AD, S+call sent, f+H, psionic blaster, balloon bombX2/3, f+H psionic blaster, HBR

I watched some barowsaboxer he actually plays the team and looks like he optimized combos using those extensions and I think it would go like this
cr.h > ad m > s mmh s > cr.m s mm l pb add s > cr.m + hypergrav + pb > f.h lp bomb > call sent > f.h m blaster > dash lp bomb x 2 > f.h ad s lp bomb > f.h m blaster HBR.
I still havent done the combo once because I fail at HBR :(.

I still suck at wavedashing! But at least I can segment the button presses for cr. H, up, dash, and j.M better and it’s a bit more natural.
