Picked it in a tournament, people were confused.
Landed it, people were still confused.
Bison is cheap.

In the Bison Lab work thread it says an opponent recovers 61 frames after Bison, with delayed wake up it will be 72 frames, so on the 12 frame of your forward dash technical will appear, since the set up the after dash we delay the jump briefly I think this is reactable, it will just require practise.
I’ve certainly widened my use of U2 over the months. Currently against:
Bison, Vega, Sim, Hakan, Rose and certain players who favour heavy fireball use.
I tried using this against Blanka but as earlier said, not necessary.
Horizontal Ball can be punished with U1 on block. A good Blanka won’t be using that outside a combo anyways so not be depended on.
Me too, but Viper instead of Hakan.
You should try it vs Hakan, he can’t oil up when you have back charge from any distance. While oil can be punished with the other charge specials, Hakan still gains an oil bonus so the bigger damage from U2 stops them entirely.
Against Viper is U2 for the burn kick mixups in the neutral game?
Yeah, I’ve found that it helps against nutty Vipers as well. Makes them more concerned with what they’re doing.
Guy this is the point where we need to pay close attention to the Japanese. This is where Combofiend said they would be receiving feedback from the JP market from this point on.
In Kim1234 we trust then.
What I’ve gathered from Kim: We should all secondary Guile/Juri/Elena/Guy.
As for Hakan, I had the chance to try it last night, played 3 different Hakan players but instead ran with Cammy. x.x
Nothing new.
I know combofiend is towing the party line and has to rationalise the buffs given but I can’t believe that anyone is gonna buy the justification for the reduced charge time on U2.
As if that means the difference between punishing unsafe strings now that we couldn’t before. Just bollocks that is IMO. The string in that vid could always be ex scissored but isn’t regularly cos it’s hugely unsafe if blocked. Ultra on reaction in that situation isn’t practical in my opinion.
Also the ex scissors buff is actually great against shotos but is anyone else imagining a great big fuck off stand fierce from Guile if it’s used as shown in the vid? It’s still way underpowered as an answer to him.
Dunno of it’s aimed at us but that vid leaves me really cold. Bit pissed at the moment so it might be salt but I feel that his buffs could have been presented in a much more positive way.
@Torgo
As expected.
@TheBirdLives
yeah many developers actually tend to “hide” the true logic behind some design decisions. Maybe they don’t want to get too deep into the changes so that they gather to a wider audience.
As for the ex scissor, I think they were trying not to “spoil” the actual effectiveness of the move, allowing players to test it themselves.
@TheBirdLives lol I was thinking the same thing about Guile ahahaha.
Why do they not list ALL the buffs/nerfs?
too much time. Official changelist is coming in 2 weeks
Ridiculous teleport now is Useless. it´s a joke guys
My biggest weakness is shoto characters, the Ex Scissors is hence my favourite change but it should have always been like that.
so there any changes still since Ultra is not even out yet?
Maybe. For Bison…probably not.
They’ll probably nerf overpowered Arcade characters a bit and buff Seth. This kind of stuff.
Not entirely useless no. I was able to bait DP’s with it and still punish. You can still use it to escape cross ups, and of course go full screen. Beyond that, it is very risky and situational. However, with his AA’s now he has tools for stopping those idiots that would like to jump abuse him.
