you had to stop doing everything to buffer it. Doing QCF QCF on reaction never punished anything. It became even more difficult when people started feinting moves to mess the reaction.

Current is 420 so is 315 on DU (25% dmg nerf), if was 370 will be 277 full on DU
DU as now is: U1 337 - U2 315
Add motion to U2 will just make DU a nice, nothing overpowered imho, on most match up i will still chose U1 to keep dat 450 dmg
Also will be nice get command imput back just for combo U2 from exRFA without charge

The main bonus of U2 as a motion wasn’t necessarily landing it, it was the deterrent. It caused people to stop throwing fireballs while moving forward or at the very least do it a lot less. Also I disagree with the qcf qcf on reaction not punishing anything, you are far more likely to be able to as a motion than you would with a charge command considering how stupidly slow that ultra is. I have been able to punish with both inputs (though face it, as a charge ultra it requires your opponent to be auto piloting), however it was a lot easier and a more useful as a motion simply because you can move forward.
Yes if you move forward you lose access to charge moves, however if you need to regain the life lead sitting on down/back will not help you get it back. Even now you would be moving forward in that situation, you have nothing to lose in that case.
Also kind of funny but you were also able to land it easier on the miracle that hell attack actually hits. You didn’t have to stagger the hits near as much as a motion ultra

Yeah, when opponents know you don’t need charge ready, they have to respect it
Only reason i can imagine that pushed them to turn it into charge imput is that they simply prefer Bison not have a qcfqcf… problem is that the move itself was designed as qcfqcf to be useful

You know if I had to pic Bison’s most serious flaw, it is the fact that there are to many holes in his game.
For instance, the fact that his pokes are open to air abuse because his S.hk has poor vertical hitbox, or that one wakeup much of his Ex moves will miss. There are ways to move that will counter bison if you guess right in the situation. But the flaw is that Bison has no answer for these guesses, meaning that the situations are not in his favor.
Hopefully the C.mp/HP plugs some of these holes. We shall see.

Well with c.hp and c.mp being much faster, I am saying I hope that they plug some holes in his game. Right now he has no hit boxes that work, that can cover those blind spots. But with these faster normals he can cover those spots and people can’t abuse him with shenanigans as much.

This sounds like a nerf to one of Bison’s get away tools.
Doesn’t DR put opponents in a float state on airborne hit? I wonder if the speed allows you to hit a whiffed dp/flash kick/up kicks and combo into Ultra when you land. With the decreased horizontal range, maybe you’ll still be close enough even if you hold back.

Spent some time with Usf4 Bison at Final Round. I think hes overall much improved.
I had trouble landing j. Mp psycho against some ppl but the damage is good.
I’d like to still see an extra 10 dmg increase in c.LK.
Blocked psycho being one hit sucks. I miss the chip and spacing.
Its not a nerf as you will just use HP.DR as your get away tool.
Does it drop faster with lp as opposed to mp or hp? I know the horizontal range depends on button pressed at present but does it have any effect on drop speed?
