Maybe this means that Psycho Crusher now have unified damage and hitbox so we might get full damage after cross up Psycho. It seems to me as a buff because nobody uses regular psycho crusher anyways but I hope they unfied the chip damage also so we get full chip after blocked cross up Psycho. I wish they give all PC 200 stun
good idea. Maybe if someone does FADC dash forward you can punish by going short into scissor EX-RFA and then Ultra. No idea how much damage that would do, but my guess would be 250-300. What would be nice is if EX-RFA did not count toward scaling, but that might be asking for too much.
with full U1, cr.lk xx scissors, EX-RFA, U1 will do about ~390 damage. A better use would probably be cr.mk xx hk scissors EX-RFA, U1, which does ~444 damage, which is respectable.
Generally if you donât start the scissors combos from lights, weâre looking at somewhere around 420-480 hit-confirmable damage, which is basically around the damage of the ultra itself.
i agree with this. no offense to kim but in the past he has âconfirmedâ a lot of changes that never existed in the first place
PC will sometimes hit once depending on your spacing and when you do it, and where you are on the screen (corner specifically i mean). aside from these reasons, capcom would actually have to look at bison as a whole and go âhey, letâs take something away from bison for the sake of taking it awayâ⌠which actually at this point is more believable than it should be
IF this nerf is true, then that means using hp pc as an escape is no longer viable. at certain ranges you could c.lk x hp crusher which doubled as a decent delayed frame trap and an escape. the massive hitsun on the block ticks lets him get away even though the move itself is super slow to recover. with only one block tick most ambiguous cross ups will become super unsafe as well.
im also not too keen on losing any form of chip damage. ive used pc to chip out A LOT of rounds with the double tick
I can live with the PC hitting once, obviously Iâd rather it was still safe if you fuck up but itâs rare I throw out a normal PC anyway. Same with most Bisons I think.
RFA is great news for Bison. He may finally get a comeback factor. Could really make a huge difference in some of the lamer matches - Rog, Honda, Mirror etc.
So with St Strong being cancellable and RFA taking 3 bars itâs looking like Bisonâs damage will get a lot better. Great news.
PC hitting once doesnât bother me at all. I do have a question though. If it only hits once does this mean hitting with a crossup crusher will do more damage or is it a weird still has two hitboxes with different damage values but only one counts on block?
Crossup crusher may be gimmicky but it does have uses in matchups
Been thinking. With ex red focus being 3 bars now and DP fadc forward being negative 5 Bison might do fine. Probably not tournament winner fine but maybe slightly higher than he was. Funny that the indirect buffs made as much if not more difference than st.mp buff
is everybody forgetting that EVERYBODY has ex red focus? Itâs not bison exclusive. Making him stronger with it means everybody else is too, which kinda balances it.
System mechanics donât apply equally to all characters. FADC is a system mechanic that every character has, but which Bison barely benefits from.
Bison is one of the characters that gains the most from EX RFA crumple. He doesnât have any reliable 400+ damage options midscreen, or off a buffered poke, whereas other characters might already do the same damage with 2 bars FADC.
Honda is another, with his ability to hit confirm hands -> EX RFA ->ultra. In general, a lot of the system changes in Ultra benefit the charge characters.
What RFA gives charge characters is a better punish off of heavy normals, not much more. I think Bison and Honda will benefit from it the most, because they can RFADC from their bnbs. I also heard Vega has trouble comboing into RFA.
Not all characters have an hit-confirmable move that doesnât knockdown AND combos into RFA. Itâs actually a pretty small group of characters that truly benefit from it: Bison, Honda, Evil Ryu, Oni, Guy, Cody, Viper (?), Yun, Ryu, El Fuerte, Juri, Cammy and Makoto are the only ones that I can think of right now. The problem is, how much will this affect them? Evil and Oni are becoming more and more scary because of thisâŚ
1- Is my impression or st.MP being special cancellable will be a big buff with exRFA lv1 crumple?
I mean from st.MP we will be able to HK SK ->exRFA -> U1/throw
2- Considering dmg scaling, will
jfHP -> cl.HP -> HK SK ->exRFA -> U1
Be his new most powerful combo?
3- Probably naive question, but iâm the only that to improve PC will just like it get dmg buff?
I mean make it become the pure dmg combo ender option, since aside dmg SK have many other reason to be chosen
Specially now that SK got dmg buff and exRFA
Will a 160 dmg HP PC be too powerful? Also why nerf exPC dmg, seem so random nerf lol
I like get a free PC after Hell Attack btw
4- How cool will be be able to cancel teleport into FA?
I understand that exRFA may be overpowered, but pay 2 bars to cancel into normal FA?
5- There is a reason because they changed U2 motion from qcf to charge? (i know, this question scream âyou want it easy, bad execution noob!â :D)
I mean, aside maybe that as command design they prefer a charge char to not have qcf stuff
As much it sound noob i donât deny that if was still qcf i will go for Double U, but with it still charge i think i will probably just keep U1
Aside execution, do you think faster charge will make it usefull as it was?
One thing Iâve noticed is that the two red focuses use the same buttons, but different meter requirements. Is there a way to do the 2 bar one, when you have three bars?
I still feel Bison is better off just getting the extra 1 bar, and HK SK into Super, then you still have your ultra.
