Ex-armor same kind that balrog has on his ex-rush punches. that way as soon as you see the sonic boom you can just absorb the boom and hit guile with both hits. The way I see it this ensures that Guile is hit with both hits, gets knocked down, and Bison can apply pressure afterwards. I fear that with 19f of invincibility you might still get hit and knocked back by the boom thus allowing Guile to avoid being knocked down or push Bison back enough off the trade to allow him to continue keeping Bison out.
The problem is that lp boom recovers too fast and that SK and PC have relatively long startup, so changing EX SK to armor would not help at all. The reason why ex-dash straight works sometimes is because it is safe, and it has generally faster startup, not because it has armor. If you have the reactions to punish lp boom with EX SK, then 19f of projectile invincibility is more than enough to fly through.
Dee Jay’s slash is no where as good as sonic boom, and EX SK will have little problem punishing it inside of half screen.
you sure about that? The wording on it seems to say otherwise.
Also, since it puts people in float, does that mean that we don’t have to waste meter after Hell Attack, and can just use regular PC after the jMP x 2 ?
It was confirmed by kim1234 that scissor kick --> red focus --> Ultra works (3 meters). Yay
Also PC now only hits once when blocked. Totally understandable, people always get destroyed by that move
Ah okay. That’s pretty nice then since it only costs 3 meters. Means if you do it with full bar you’ll still have one left over for escape options and things.
My question is whether or not it would be worth 3 meters to combo into Ultra?
Example: short short short xx sk EX-RFA Ultra. In this case I would assume ( I assume since I personally have not tested any of this, and have not seen EX- RFA in use) that the Ultra would do diddley squat for damage. In this situation It might be better to use a regular FADC combo in order to continue the pressure, and this only uses 2 meters.
Example: If you can get a counter hit, then cancel into scissors, then use EX-RFA would it be better to use those 3 meters to go for the ultra?

Maybe short short short into SK might not be worth it, however it might be possible to hitconfirm into RFA simply from cr.lk -> SK. If you see it hits, cancel it into RFA for a good chunk of damage. A bit 3rd strike-ish, which I like. Punishes will definitely be better though.
Cancelling into EX RFA is not always the best option, but, of course, sometimes it will be.
Let’s say, for example, Honda tries a random headbutt. Bison has 4 meters.
Punish it with Scissors > ex rfa > U1.
You will use 3 meters (will require only 2 more to get to 3 meters again) and you’ll punish a headbutt really hard. Losing the Ultra is not a big deal. It’s not that usable anyway.
