Well considering the online outcry about him, I think it was a given that Capcom will cave in and appease the masses with nerfs. I just hope they didnāt cripple him. He was in great shape, other characters shouldāve been buffed to his level rather than vice versa.
Heās still a solid character. He was definitely overrated because his movement game is piss poor without V Trigger. Either way the new dash buff should help him a bit with the nerfs.
Testing out bison a bit, it seems you can VT cancel from S kicks, Psycho blast and psycho inferno including ex, also his V-skill.
donāt get me wrong, heās still good, but it just seems a lot easier to pressure him than before and he had no wakeup options anyway.

Bison players have to know how to block for sure. If youāre a reversal happy player you might as well find another character.
Bison Severely weakened to a ridiculous amount compared to the first beta. His damage took a massive hit and the hitbox in his blast is so very tiny. the damage on his specials⦠blast deals 60 even with its tiny hitbox.
Also, donāt do EX Inferno into EX SK in the corner as it will tend to whiff
i dunno why but it seems like itās easier to keep him out too. i think it might be because v trigger only builds if he releases the reflect, which gives you the 50/50 of baiting it and eating a jump in.
cr.hp is near useless now. iād say itās slightly worse than usf4 level.

You can go through fireballs with regular teleport. For me, it feels like you need to do it a little early.
Psycho inferno with lp, mp, and hp are unsafe on block. EX is safe.
Scissor kicks are unsafe on 2 hits, 1 hit scissors are still safe with any strength. EX is safe.
Psycho ball safe if spaced at max range. EX always safe.
s hp safe if spaced at max range.
c hp as AA is nerfed. Hitbox is either worse, or new characters have better jump in angles. Startup is slower. j mp, mp is now your best option.
c hk is still not safe at any range.
v skill does not build super meter anymore if you donāt release the fireball.
scissors, psycho ball, c hk, psycho inferno can all be v-trigger canceled to make them safe.
In v-trigger all scissors are safe.
In v-trigger all psycho balls are safe.
Do you think they nerfed his AA because of his added mobility? Bison having a solid AA is relatively out of character for him, but so was the slow walk speed.
oh and psycho blast has less range now too. it whiffs at ranges it didnāt before.
