I dunno I kinda like the slow walk speed gameplay wise. I mean in all my time playing 4 I couldnât stand playing with anybody with a slow walk speed, but I had no problems using Bison in the betaâŚ
Of course all you actually needed in the beta was know how to anti-air and block and you won 85% of your matches with that alone, but weâll see how it effects him when the game is released. But itâs very aesthetically pleasing and that counts for a lot right now.
Bison lost walkspeed, but his dash is fine, scissors is still around, his anti projectile tool is fast and doesnt require any kind of buffer, and his aa is almost guile levels.
With his current tools, he is able to mantain dominance in neutral game.
Itâs not as hard to adjust to as you might think. I hate using Makoto in SF4 and Bison was no problem for me. I guess itâs similar to how Seth has slow walk speed, but because he has a good dash and a lot of movement options that you donât really notice it. Thatâs not to say Makotoâs dash isnât godlike, but I always feel weighed down by her walk speed.
While I kind of want to see how he plays after all the changes, Iâd be totally down for swapping out the first 6 reveals for the next 6 (Ken, Necalli, Vega, R.Mika Rashid, Karin). I mean, Bisonâs my boy but almost all of those characters interest me more than the other first 5 reveals.
If itâs just a graphical then whatâs the point? Can I at least go through characters and projectiles? And doesnât this diminish the uniqueness of the v trigger which mainly buffs his mobility? Seems like an odd change considering Bison was already in a good spot.
Because it looks cool? In VT he might gain Slayer dash properties but no graphical alternations, so heâll play exactly the same as he did before this.
Needs more teleport back dashes if this is âjust for appearancesâ.
Although honestly, it would be quite misleading if it had zero invulnerability. I also kinda enjoyed it as a V-Trigger only feature, it reminded me of the SF2 Animated Movie where there is a difference between Bison fighting with and without Psycho Power to give his opponent a chance.
