I’m not sure how to get the actual image in here but if you pause it at that precise moment you get a really good crisp closeup of his face, with his hand hand resting on his head.
and math is an internationally recognized system… You could’ve called it “180” in any language… because it’s a number… “This place shall become your grave!”
You somehow completely missed the point. I don’t even know how you did that.
BACK TO BISON
When bison hits charlie, charlie remains engulfed in purple stuff for quite a bit. Maybe your enemy goes into OTG state if knocked down while engulfed by psycho power? Ryu, chun and charlie have pretty clear looking v trigger mechanics but bison’s v trigger is a lot less obvious. Seems to me like it’s mostly based around OTG seeing how we’re shown 3 OTG headstomps in a row.
I suspected that the purple flames have to do with the OTG state but when Bison does his V Trigger Ex Head Stomp, the second hit is OTG and Charlie is not engulfed in flames.
I think his V-Trigger is related to charge time. Besides what seems to be infinite ex moves and how it actually buffs his ex moves even more, it looks like the charge time between moves is really low, allowing for moves to combo into one another when they normally wouldn’t.
I remember LI Joe doing his analysis on the Mike vs Combo SF5 match and they seemed to disappear for different reasons. Can’t recall now, but they disappeared under different circumstances. Knockdowns might still be universal though.
Maybe not all characters keep something as part of the general balance. Getting hit is way easier than causing a knockdown so maybe ryu compensates that way? Forcing an opponent to do something other than block a projectile is already a huge change of pace for ryu’s playstyle, who knows what that’ll add up to.
Since no one noticed my post in the previous page I will bring this up again…
What is this? Bison does it at the end of his first combo (at about 38 seconds). Is this a new command normal uppercut, is this his new crouching fierce (like his Alpha 3 final form c.fierce), or is this a new move? The reason why I doubt it is a new move as I said is because functionally it is too similar to this new move…
I hadn’t really thought about that. Perhaps the first one is the weak version, which might be used as a juggle starter, and the next two being there to continue or end juggles. Their functionality is very similar so that’s all I can really think of. Typically in SF moves always look the same and have the same functionality regardless of button strength but we might see a departure. I’m all in for that!
Imho is a new special for both how it work: kind of static fireball, also multi-hit and cause launch
Does’nt look like just a new normal
Also there is a change of camera for it
Maybe function can be force block to safe exit tool, since the “geyser” seem last a lil bit
Like you jump in, he block the first normals and the geyser force him to keep blocking, giving you time to escape from the reaction
Like a safer combo ender, with more risky moves being more damage oriented
