I think if you can you should go for VT, don t underestimate the damage potential.
If you have 2 EX Meter, VTR is worth it.
With 1 EX, maybe.
With 3, only go for it if you can stun the enemy, otherwise, just CA him.
If you have no EX, go for VRev
If you used 2 VRev, forget VTR.
Btw
Raw HK/MK VT Scissors Kick is an excellent frametrap.
I feel the same way. All things considered I feel it out in the match. There have been times where taking the damage then immediately getting trigger to finish things off have helped. So much damage and stun.
@Sosage
At the same time there are situations where vreversal helped me control the match and get a stress free match lol.
You mean doing it after a hp jump blocked for example ? Or on wake up after a throw in the corner ?
Be at point blank, where they will try to tech your throws. Scissors VT will make Bison disappear, ignoring their throw animations.
Not sure if this was mentioned but Back throw and no recovery: dash, axe, s/cr.j, counters 3f
Or axe before dash to check there wake up.
No recovery setups are somewhat mesningless. Why would anyone choose not to fast recovery?
…because a decent opponent will oki your shit in for using fast recovery at every opportunity. You need to mix it up. And when you’re both finally mixing up wake ups, it’s not a bad idea to have a set up for when you read a no recovery situation.
It helps to not always quick rise against stupid canned setup shit like ken forward throw in the corner. Not all of them are prepared for the late setup.
If the opponent doesn’t quick rise or backroll, the only setup needed is for safejumps. Landing a meaty without any setups is not hard.

^If you want to tell if your combos are legit or not, turn the cpu to “block after first hit”.

The jump command is taking priority over the block command. This is the only reason they are getting hit after the AA 2 hp. So the cpu is jumping into the super after getting hit. It would be impossible to combo after an anti air cr. hp no matter the case. The move sends the opponent into a flip out animation, “air reset”. They are invincible during that state. Try hitting jumping medium punch on a jumping cpu to see what characters look like when they are vulnerable to extra hits after getting hit in the air. If you look, the animation looks a lot different. They literally fall to the ground also.
Starting right next to the opponent crouch jab (hit) crouch short x2 (blocked) leaves bison at a range where shadow axe will combo on normal hit. Not sure if this is news to anyone or what to do with this information.
Again with these meaty Scissors? Haven’t we already said how poor this move is as a meaty attack?
And even if we didn’t, it should be quite obvious to someone to conclude how this is not a good option
wtf…
