When i use morrigan and I always get pissed off. I work my ass off for some of her combos and they do a measly 600-700k, and for the amount of effort it’s not worth it. If her ground S was a otg (oh hell yeah) then i’ll be using her way more, but i can dream on.

@Robo-mitsu: this. hence why I stated CotA Magneto since iirc he had 2 beam projectiles, tempest called out rocks that took up the whole screen AND you could send them out at any time, plus his shockwave did a ton of damage by itself. his hyper-grav was unblockable too, lol. crazy.

CotA was the FIRST entry in the vs series, it’s sort of hard to take that game seriously even though I love it to death. Mags being just as good in keepawaw now is very much OD, haha.

I’m not talking about Mags vs Arthur in a match, I’m talking about Mags vs Arthur in terms of keeping away better.
Disruptor is so moronically fast that if it hits someone on the ground, if you’re not teching / blocking properly it will hit you a second god damn time after you immediately air tech the first one before you even get to touch the fucking ground. It’s arguably the best ‘beam’ in the game, it’s dumb fast, it builds meter fast thanks to this, which leads to his second option. Once he’s got the meter he’s got a better answer for anti-air then anyone else in the game, including Arthur, that being magnetic shockwave. Full vertical reach of the screen, pushes away full screen, and comes out fast enough that you can throw it out right when they’re on top of you. And if you want to be a real dickhead you can save up for a level three and then gravity squeeze your opponent no matter where they are on the screen.
Arthur is still ass no matter how good you are with him. I’m not dismissing your skills or ability to make him work but he is still ass. Hell, you can kick my ass with him and I’m still going to say he’s ass. This is my opinion after playing him as best I could. So if you’re still dead set against disagreeing with that, good for you. You keep rocking Arthur. He is severely limited, he deserves some REAL bullshit, and that’s all I’ve got left to say on the matter.
