I still wonder where he gets this information from. It’s been accurate every time.
I guess im just starting to feel what alot of ppl have been crying about for a while now.
Just that capcom is focusing on the marketing department more than their game development department.Too much DLC, releaseing unfinished games, and now aparently releasing games with prior knowledge that they plan to replace it shortly.
I mean who knows what were gonna lose/gain in SMVC3. So why practice now you know, its like I better wait until the new one comes out. Then I have to worry that they will patch the new one and ruin whatever techs i picked up on that version.
But really though, I love fighting games and Ill always play them, regardless
I’ve never played a game with Gouki in it. (I never import games.)
I know you can use Ken and Akuma’s movesets as Ryu in MvC…Wasn’t sold.
Discussion is fine, but please try keeping away from turning this in another wishlist thread, otherwise not even Jill’s lockpicking skillz can save this one.
(I’ll let any Sigma wishlists slide   )

Where the people who were saying “But Capcom said they’re not going to make a new version!” when ever I said they would during prerelease?
I want to laugh at them.
You guys are acting way too hasty. All he’s said so far is that they are updating the game. This might not mean a full disc, this might mean just a ton of DLC, or it could mean a full disc. We don’t know anything except that something is coming.
Where’s the fun in being rational?
I never did mind giving my money to Capcom for some reason lol
I’d buy the disc IF that were an option. Just give me Cable… and/or Strider.
This really is just a huge shit on the scene. Not everyone is made of fucking money. Fuck you Capcom.
Ah yes, the argument from poverty. 40-60$ for one game, in one year, is all a company asks for in regard to a single game series. And it’s completely optional. In fact, everything about being a game consumer is optional. Games are entertainment, luxury, hobbies. I am sick to death of the whaaambulence over spending money on things you don’t even fucking need. Gas prices are screwing us over. Water is price gauged in certain countries and people need that to live. Please… please, do not come on the internet with your computer and your internet connection between sessions of playing your videogame on your TV (with your arcade stick for some) and bitch about the possibility, the possibility, of buying another game.
Spare me.
Meh… guess I’ll wait for them to finish Marvel until I buy another copy if this is true. I don’t do that buying 5 versions of the same game crap anymore.
What floors me about this kind of situation is that a $40 disc update would almost definitely be more bang for your buck in terms of the amount of content you get after factoring in the option of offloading your old copy on the second-hand market, yet it seems people would rather spend more money overall as long as it’s doled out piecemeal with individual DLC updates.
Not to mention that we don’t even know the distribution method for this thing if it’s even actually coming. An AE type update and pricing structure would be sweet for all parties involved.
Spoken like a true kid that lives at home with his mother.
I love the internets.
I really hope, regardless of how they release it (DLC or Disc), that they just fix the damn netcode somehow. That alone is enough for me to hand over my cash.
I’m also actually kind of curious how the whole dlc chars/costumes thing is going to be handled from mvc3 to this supposed “super mvc”. If we were to get an official announcement that there is indeed another version coming out, in the somewhat near future, then is it worth it to spend your money on new dlc chars? Wouldn’t they be added into the newer version anyway?
You only need to look to SFIV for the answer to that question. If Capcom charges you for something, they will in no way give it out for free later.
LOL
Have fun giving Capcom your money you fools.
We will.
