The Marvel side need obscure characters that look goofy as hell…because we all know that Capcom loves goofy Marvel. Especially consider these characters tend to have unique character design that allow stand out compared to the rest of the cast.

Seriously. Capcom loves to troll when consider how unique Hakan/Modok/Shuma Gorath/etc was. Realistically they will find a character that doesn’t look cool at all. Count on it, it’s what makes it so fucking hilarious of a reveal.

Anyway, I think they’d be best off just making it a big DLC upgrade in the vein of AE, except with no disc release whatsoever. It would save them time and money, and it would prevent some brand fatigue.

It would be profoundly easy to make Wright into a Commando/Doronjo-esque character who simply calls on other characters from the series to jump in and do some trademark action of theirs for his different specials, so even if the designers have a complete lack of imagination when it comes to designing a moveset for him specifically, there is a treasure trove of material to pull from in the series to make him work

Actually, it isn’t easy. It’s much harder to draw extra characters in 3D than in 2D, that was why they were unable to finish Frank West in time.

I wish, but I’m sure Marvel would never let that happen. I’m still holding out for Vergil with 'ports and swords to take her place. I’d chime in against the “Vergil is basically Dante” thing but iirc me and Robo already went down that road back before release and neither of us ever really got anywhere with it lol.

I will say that even though I think PW could be really cool in a fighter, I really don’t think it should be MvC. I feel like he missed his chance with TvC, he would have been perfect there.

While we’re at it. X-23 basically Wolverine. And She Hulk is basically Hulk. All relatives and characters with the same color skin usually play alike.
