You kidding me? AHVBx3 finishes were some of the most hype shit ever. Whenever me and my buds rewatch EVO matches and see it close a mtach that room goes insane. And yeah AHVBx3 is easy to pull of but fuck a good 75% of the kill stuff in this game is just as easy or easier.
cable is my favorite xman he was on my firstv mvc team of hayato/cable/wolverine 
and when it came to mvc2 he was the one against all odds. he had no double jump, air dash or teleport. he had guns and grenades, he wasnt a robot or a god. his moveset was like the solid snake of mvc2. cable is just awesome

repeat? lol yes if you have 5 bars, which was way harder to get in 2 than 3, and even then that’s not enough to kill 2 full chars. if youre really comparing catching an ahvb x3 to any xf kill in mvc3, youre delusional. its funny your post just exaggerates it, when in practice you actually have to earn it, whereas xf it is literally like that. you actually have to earn the meter, and it aint gonna come from a 5 minute combo with dante. the only way that happened was with IM, and landing a hit with that dude isnt that easy…unless you have a good assist…but assist chars cant use xfl3 and make miracles happen in that game…you had to pay a price for everything.
i mean just look at what ppl are saying about cable being hype. its hype because the players EARNED it. shit, you cant even make a comeback in mvc3 if you wanted to, because ‘comeback’ w/ xfl3 isnt a comeback, its just something given to you if you manage to land 1 hit. its a regularly recurring event, and never something special. i mean, has anyone ever seen an xfl3 comeback and felt like the player earned it? or deserved it? doesnt matter who. justin wong could come back with xfl3, but no one would give him props because its xfl3. let the players earn it, dont give it to them, or you just rob them of the chance to actually do something unbelievable. thats really the worst thing about xf.
I know comebacks in MVC3 is ruined by XF, but I feel similarly about Cable just shitting out meter. Never found it exciting to watch (not a comment on skill, so keep your pants on guys).
Repeat as in TK to another one until things die or you run out of meter.
I’m sorry what!? Meter was handed out in that game for super jumping with Storm and whiffing normals. It’s why Strider could indefinitely lock people down (which was awesome). You didn’t need to hit the guy. Building meter with lengthy Dante combos is actually pretty fucking impressive. I’d rather see that.
Cable maybe, he is a mutant with no actual powers. I mean does anyone know what his powers were? He time traveled and used a gun. As for gambit, he is currently in the x-23 series which is doing great(no small thanks to interest by mvc3 btw). They even had Wolverines son vs x-23 which did quite well. As for Venom? He just received a reboot and if I recall correctly was the number 1 selling marvel comic last month. (The fear itself series might have been higher) However venom is no longer the venom that the general public know. He is completely changed. I have trouble seeing how they would put in the new venom since he would be a hybrid chris/deadpool/spiderman. I still hold out hope for Psylocke, she is practically THE main character in uncanny x-force right now. The series would be a flop without her but it is currently the highest selling x-men title.
Man fuck it I’m going to ask, what the fuck is so special about Psylocke? I mean serious can someone point out a story with Betsy post-Body swap that actually sticks out and screams awesome?
Uncanny x-force? The psylocke mini comic she got was awesome as well. I enjoyed her time as lady mandarin hell I hope they actually go into that a bit more sometime. Plus any time her and emma get near each other is always a good time. Honestly Psylocke has been my favorite x-men for a very long time. I don’t care what power set they give her. Her current Omega TK, her shadow powers, they could give me old british armored betsy and I would still be happy. Though I would love to see her get an updated character model, those legs in mvc2 shudders She is a model not chun-li.
I’m liking her in Uncannany X-Force butfor the longest time outside of the mini she was pretty much doing nothing, just being eye candy. I miss her actually doing stuff with Captain Britian, then again I miss him in general.
Sengoku BASARA and/or Rival Schools characters in this? One can dream…
What’s with all the Cable bitching? Atleast Cable needed several bars of meter and needed to burn all of them in order to kill point and assist. In MvC3 all you need is 1 bar, XF, and a random hyper and you can catch an assist, kill them, and maybe even the point character. Cable isn’t even able to combo very well, He just has solid defense skills with the pschimitar and gun and if he’s lucky he can be in a safe place to TK an AHVB and get some damage in. MvC3 all you need is " oh im in blockstun, oh theres an assist XF * Hyper* now he’s dead :D" and there is much rejoicing.
i feel that cable done corectly would be anti phoenix. fierce nades right above your head, psimitar, and if HVB is given priority over dark phoenixes tranformation…goodnitenow
Hell I not even sure if Cable could be good for this game because of how terrible keep-away truly is in this game. He could end up like Chris…

Well to be fair she was dead or banished to every other dimension other than ours for a while. But at least in New exiles her and Captain Britain had really large roles even if I didn’t care for the series too much. I agree she was doing nothing for a long time though. I am just glad she has a competent writer working on her right now.

as a hint cyclops WILL NOT be in this game and if he is its not till the 3rd expansion of it. Marvel DOES NOT want Cyclops in this game, some interview said they rather have NEWER characters or characters with Movies that just came out or are coming out.
