Most characters can’t do 800k with just an x-factor hyper.
And, really, even if they could, I’d consider x-factor+1 meter for just an assist kill a much worse deal than AHVB assassinations.

She was the most requested female character from either side in those polls on capcom unity and here. And she is currently vastly more important to marvel comic story lines than gambit is. I like him but he is basically x-23s sidekick right now. I hope they do announce a “super” mvc3. Because there are a lot of characters I would like to see added. And there are even more I don’t know about that could turn out to be great fun.
Since assist characters take like 150% damage (i think it was?) it is extremely easy to do 800k coupled with an XF boost. Although you believe 1 meter + XF burn to kill a character on reaction is a “worse” deal than having to burn several meters to kill 2, you need to realize building meter in marvel 2 is a lot harder than to build meter in marvel 3. Cable can’t do a b c s bbcs otg c s c s to build meter. Even if you had the meter, Trying to catch a psylocke assist with magnus on cocaine on your ass is also big trouble compared to being able to be in blockstun, XF, and then hyper.
Interesting question: if Psylocke appears in Super MvC3 would you rather that her Psi-Blade assist be good or bad? Because they will definitely either nerf her assists and make her a powerful point character, or give her a great assist and nerf her abilities on point. I actually will prefer the later because she has the potential to play great on point in MvC3.

We don’t need anything else like Tron’s assist. It’s a freebie. Haggar assist I can jive with.
In fact any assists that wants to be invincible should take damage when struck. Make the Haggar property a rule for future invincible assists.

If they wanted to, though more likely he’ll be based off MvC2 Venom’s animations.
Only if AHVB still worked the same way. Plus, that’s 5 meters to kill one character, AND you’d need to land before you could X-factor.

Anyway, I hope Cyclops makes it in, along with Gambit, CapCom and Strider. Other than those four, I don’t care who else makes it.
