Point is it is in no way hypocritical to have a wishlist and a don’t-wishlist. The theory behind that is not wanting another character to take the place of what you hope for. Also, I was talking about X-Series characters which Axel is one of. I wanted to make sure that Axel, for me, wasn’t a good X-Series filling character IMO.

The first costume pack was such a tease. And done poorly (no alt. colors!?). And here we are with no extra costumes. Whoever was in charge of MvC3’s DLC plans missed the mark. Hard. Made SSF4’s DLC offerings look good.
Next time, one extra costume for every character - I don’t care if certain characters only wore one thing ever. make something up. Have Capcom and Marvel artist go crazy, make it a PR move. “Marvel artist creates costume for Akuma.” Kids will eat that up. Each costume can go for $1, or have them as packs.
And if you’re *not *gonna have bountiful post release DLC characters, then for god’s sake cluster the roster thumbnails into a shape that doesn’t suggest more characters. Those bottom corners drive me insane.

Anyways, I would really, REALLY like to see Cyclops come back. He’s number 1 in my book. Venom, Strider Hiryu, Frank West (Since he’s half done) and Phoenix Wright would be nice if I had to pick others.
Also hoping for (but not at all expecting) Ms Marvel. Also if a "Super"MvC3 does happen, I reaaaaaally hope they don’t nerf many characters. Buff low tiers, sure, fix X Factor/DHC Glitch whatever if you must, but please Capcom, don’t go overboard with the nerfs.

I thought I was the only one who wanted Sakura in this game. I miss making her go evil and doing Shun Goku Satsu 
I think she’d work really well in this game (unlike in MvC2 she was kinda crap). I don’t have high hopes for her getting in though

I have been countering this misconception for what feels like forever and I’m fed up of hearing it. This is empty speculation and I want to slap the face of the guy that spread this misconception in the first place. There has been no evidence to suggest that Motokikaku, for whatever arbitrary reason, have vetoed Strider’s use in another game. I don’t think they could veto even if they wanted. Capcom didn’t rent the license like they’ve done with the Marvel characters, they have co-ownership.
